"'Look for the last time at the sky, you will never be able to ever again.' Just then, he let the ropes loose.

"The1exile (Mafia), it seems, has met his demise.

"'What a relief, muttered ??? (Deputy). Good thing we got him. My boss tells me he was guilty. Jesus...look at this. His head is as blue as my balls.'

Three hours later

"I looked at the report. I am not going to open it. This case has been one of the worst in my career. The evidence is filled with misrepresentations, and the sad thing is that I don't need to open this briefing to know that. I phoned for the deputy: 'Yes, detective, I'll notify him immediately.' Five minutes. Ten minutes. Fifteen. Twenty. Finally half an hour passed before he stumbled through the door, looking at me with an uncertain face. A bit tipsy, it seems?

"'What makes you think this man is mafia, deputy?'

"'I'm sorry detective, I'm a bit, uh, uuhhhhhhhhh....hold on....I'm sorry what?'

"'What compels you to think that The1exile is part of the mafia?'

"'Oh man, this guy! God, he is a freak, man. He, jesus, he owns like three, four rifles, two of which are automatic, he has a drawer filled with knives, man. He....uhh....oh he doesn't have an official day job, man. We don't know what he could be doing with his shit, man!.....oh, excuse me.' He ran out the door. Five minutes later, he barged back in. 'Oh jesus, but anyways he...uh....what were we - oh right! He, well....'

"' Deputy, your report is like swiss cheese. You don't account for numerous things, like his service in Vietnam, or the fact that he works by day in a windmill outside city limits. I'm sorry, but this is not a valid report. You have the wrong man.'

"The deputy looked at me, dumbfounded. 'Uh.........what?'"

The1exile (Miller) has been lynched! You have until Friday 11PM GMT to send me your night actions.

"I walked back from my office to my house. Finally, just finally, I get a day off. The rain beat my black hat and my mind wandered away, to faraway thoughts and memories. I distanced myself from reality, something I had not done in a while. But as much as I tried to keep myself away, the case remained. Why? When will it end? Will they ever find me? And then paranoia hit me. What if I was being followed right now? What if their hitman is right...behind...me....

"'Detective?' 'Oh jesus! Oh, it's you. Deputy.'
"'Not anymore. Things have changed. I'm back to where I started. Fired.'
"'Let me guess. Drinking on the job?' 'Yep...I'm still scared though. What if they find me, thinking I'll still be of use to them?'
"'They won't know until tomorrow. You have nothing to worry about, my friend.'
"'Well, that's good to hear coming from you, detective. I have to get back home, the woman doesn't want to do the dishes tonight.'
"'Alright you take it easy. And stay out of trouble!' Suddenly the city felt like a calmer, safer place. I realized that the priorities of the mafia put me and the deputy out of the picture. It was peaceful, it was quiet again.
"But then something broke the silence. Gunshots. At first I thought it was a regular mugging, but then I heard tires screaming on the ground. Hit and Run - classic mafia tactic. Moments later a large sedan drove right past me, too fast for me to see the details.
"As I panicked I heard another gunshot, farther away in the opposite direction. Where the sedan drove. I couldn't see the car, but I heard that as soon as this shot was emitted through the air the car came to a halt. The noisy rain blocked some of the details, but I think I heard a door open and close quickly.
"I raced back to where I was just a few minutes ago. Sure enough, there lied the deputy. Motionless.

I GOT SERVED (Deputy) has been killed.

Well, I dont know what to tell you. Except that Fircoal is innocent, and by my and IGS stupidity I investgated mandy. I just realized he was killed yesterday. Well, I dont know what to do anymore.

Yeah. I doubt we'd have more than three in a game with only 13 players, so there's probably only one left.

I'm out of ideas, though. So far, all of my guesses have turned out wrong.
