unvote vote Violet cause upon recollection she was mafia in the last game I played and piled on to lynch me so she could win. So Griff's can't hold all the blame.

Okay, Okay, these votes have gotten my attention. I hadn't checked this game in about three days.

alt1978 wrote:A question to some of the more experienced mafia players...does Rodion's elminate "all the threats to the town" sound to anyone else like we may be dealing with some strange things in this game? It stands to reason in my book that action is better than no action here so we have a better idea of what we are up against.
I'm still suspicious of Dazerazor...making a play to keep the new guy in sounds shady and he didn't come out and defend himself when the joke count was mounting up. I would at least like to hear from him.

As some one else noted, this is quite common notation in mafia games. In each game- you normally have at least two factions : town and mafia.

Mafia want to kill town, and town wants to kill mafia. But there can be other factions- such as SK (serial killer) or cults, or extra mafia factions. All of these are a threat to town. Any faction that wants town dead and/or to outnumber them, is a threat.

So basically , all that phrase is saying is that you want to make sure by the end of the game, more townies are left than any other anti-town faction.

Violet: oh, what big news?
Bruceswar: I am leaving KORT to go to RA

sticking with my grudge vote, can't think of any reason to vote for anyone right now. Not much talk just theorizing. No info to base a clear uneducated guess on.

Ice, any reasoning behind that instinct? Or am I just blind?

I believe the reasoning is the tone of the post. Appearance of being active, non commital, and not trying to draw attention.

Pretty much this. Scum in general don't care who gets lynched. Noob scum in particular tend to see the chaos of day one and respond to it by a) not posting very much and b) making non-committal posts often along the lines of "there are no good leads", as their only concern is to not to draw attention to themselves.

Since admiral fits both these criteria I think he's our best bet at the moment.

I see. In that case unvote vote Admiral.

Also, Icy don't forget to put your votes in red ;)

I'd like to see if AdmiralGaal has any clarifications to his earlier statement that he would like to make. If he continues to be silent, I will vote for him as well.

Actually they can be color or bold. We get to decide. :)

Rodion wrote:4. All ‘votes’ and ‘unvotes’ must be in bold and/or colour. If they are not, they will not be tallied. (I.E. Vote: Saviour Sephiroth) If you vote two or more times consecutively without an unvote in between them, then the first vote will be the one that gets tallied.

Good reasoning Icy. I'll be waiting for Admiral to reply before voting for him though.

Dazerazor hasn't responded either to giving off slightly scummy vibes. Hearing from admiral is a good idea. I could be talked into voting admiral but I'm sticking with my ninja instincts and not changing from dazerazor until I hear something from him for the moment.

FYI, dazerazer is a girl. Still, a vote of some sort is worth more than waffling.

If being quiet is a great scum tell and gets people to vote for you, what does being the most talkative player mean safariguy5?

Really, you cannot interpret activity. I mean, scum know that being silent usually is a scum tell, so I've seen mafia players act really active to appear townie (Mr. Squirrel in Rolegift Mafia). You look more at changes in playstyle as determinants of whether someone may be mafia.

Course if you're new, you probably don't have an established playstyle, so it might be more difficult.
