Who thinks the Packers will go 16-0 plus win the superbowl?? The Pack is almost already 16-0 if you count form when they last lost back in last season...

Please don't invite me to any pickup games. I will decline the invite.

The Lions have the best chance of preventing that by virtue of having two games against the Pack. The Giants and the Bears are the only other teams I'd say have a good shot at it.

The packers definitely have the talent to, but they tend to have at least 1 screw up game and lose to a ridiculous team, (TB 2 years ago, dolphins/redskins last year), so I highly doubt they will do it. Especially unlikely because of the 2 lions and bears game left as well, and the fact the defense has not looked good.

9-5 this week 61-26 overall still hovering around 70%. didnt see it the first week and forgot a couple others. Also I have a personal policy New England and Oakland should always lose and Denver should always win which brings me down a little as of now.

New England? I used to have dislike for them back when we would compete against them in the playoffs and such, but I don't care that much. Every week I expect both Oakland and San Diego to lose. I don't hate KC as much.

well all I hear since I moved out here is how awesome they are, along with the abundance of sunshine that is blown up the patriots asses. I have a personal campaign where I compare the Pats to where the Broncos were in the mid 90's and how they're about 3 seasons away from 4-12. Bellichick and shannahan are like fucking twins when it comes to how they act. Also Brady is a cry baby, I lost all respect for him after the Ravens game a couple years back when he cried the ref for a flag when the lineman pushed the defender near his knees, thats the game where Ray told him ot take off the dress.

Games I am looking forward to:

Raiders (4-4) vs Chargers (4-4)
Saints (6-3) vs Falcons (5-3)
Steelers (6-3) vs Bengals (6-2)
Bills (5-3) vs Cowboys (4-4)
Texans (6-3) vs Buccaneers (4-4)
Lions (6-3) vs Bears (5-3)
Giants (6-2) vs 49ers (7-1)
Patriots (5-3) vs Jets (5-3)

And even though Vikings are (2-6), I still want to watch the Packers (8-0) game on Monday.

9-4, I'm playing Pick-em on Yahoo, so my record overall is 85-44.
That's not a bad record, Safari. I once entered something like that for the NHL, but I don't have the time, any more... It's always fun, though.

and with Chicago's win, that puts me at 10 - 4! Hurrah! A veeeery good Sunday for me.

I have to say, it's a lot easier because the default Yahoo scoring for NFL games does not include the spread. So straight up victories is much easier to pick.

In the College Pick'em, I'm around 50% partly because I don't follow college closely and the spread tends to negate some possible wins.

Saw this bit on the Daily Show and lol'd hard: http://www.starpulse.com/news/Kevin_Bla ... ans_want_n

An even worse tragedy is how the Super Bowl is a showcase for aging/past-their-prime artists...can't wait to listen to Madonna have shit come out of her mouth during halftime of the Super Bowl. Why can't they get a relevant band/artist?

I hadn't heard Madonna was this season's halftime,
but last years Peas won't be hard to top.

Last year they had a supposedly relevant artist and it was awful. Who would you prefer? Lady Gaga?

That's for certain. That was embarassing for the entire league. Madonna might be, as well. Aside from pop culture, what message is the NFL sending to the children and fans when it nominates the most controversial singer of the '90s? Lady Gaga would be just as bad.

How about young talent? There's quite a bit of it, and I reckon that a good portion of the States would accept somebody like Taylor Swift, Katie Perry, Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum, Rihanna or Adele? Or for those of you Glee fans, how about a Glee cast set? lol I've seen one or two songs (though I don't approve of the show), and they're pretty smashing.

Black Eyed Peas are in no way relevant. 10 years ago, yes, but they're done now.

Anyway, Radiohead would be great but there's no way they would do it. Metallica is one aging band that I'd kill for as long as they agree not to play anything from St. Anger, Load or Reload.

I tried my best, hell I even love the actual game, but I couldn't do it. 60 minutes of playtime + 20-30 of actual interesting content/setup/discussion still equals 50% of three hours. Im not built to withstand that, bring on Football, Rugby or Cricket... Sorry NFL I tried :(
I go to the gym to justify my mockery of fat people.

Adele is out for sure, she had throat surgery recently.

Coldplay? The Red Hot Chili Peppers? How about a good rock group? I know they make tons on advertising, money should not be an issue.

Week 10

OAK @ SD I really have no idea. Damn this division.
DEN @ KC Chiefs will probably beat themselves here as Denver pulls back into the AFC West race.
JAC @ IND Lol colts.
NO @ ATL Gut call
HOU @ TB Tampa, I am disappoint.
PIT @ CIN Expect a game like Sunday night's, but this time the Steelers pull it off.
TEN @ CAR
ARI @ PHI
BUF @ DAL
STL @ CLE
WAS @ MIA SHANAHANIGANS
BAL @ SEA This one screams trap game. Going with logic anyway.
NYG @ SF
DET @ CHI
NE @ NYJ Brady? A three-game losing streak? No way. I'll shave my head.
MIN @ GB

Incidentally, what game does everyone think will replace the flexed IND @ NE for Sunday night in Week 13? My money's on DET @ NO.

I would be content with any of these three: GB/NYG, Det/NO or Cin/Pit

That's assuming Cincinatti is still good by then.

Atlanta @ Houston should be good. A shootout is always entertaining.

I think Carson Palmer is acclimating to the Oakland offense, but haven't heard if McFadden is available to play, so I'm giving the nod to the home team. There's also the 100+ yards of penalties the Silver & Black gave away against the Broncos last Sunday to consider.

Chargers over the Raiders.

It's hard to get a good grasp of either team, since they have both proven to be inconsistent (and for years too). My gut feeling is though that Rivers won't have as bad as a night as he has had in the past, interception wise, especially because Oakland's defense is pretty middle of the pack.
