The Ravens loss might just be a fluke. Or they better hope so because there's no way they'll win the division if they drop games like that.

The entire NFL is nuts halfway thru the season, with only a handful of blowout games so far. Tim Tebow completes just two passes all game and the Broncos still manage to prevail over the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

AFC: Houston is looking good with several teams right on their heels,
who imagined the Seahawks beating the Ravens?
NFC: Green Bay and San Francisco are the standard so far,
but the Cards beating the Eagles in Philly was a shocker.

Baltimore and Philadelphia certainly looked like slam dunk pics. Doh!

The Dolphins like the Panthers are looking to the future
and they both know they have some building to do.

That team rely's on that two headed running game. Maybe they should have kept Sage Rosenfels. And with AJ still down, it's probably not going to matter that much in the short term.

Damn, 6-9 this week pending the Monday Night game.

Unconfirmed report: Schaub may be lost for the remainder of the year with a broken foot. Some teams my want to remove the QB Sneak from the playbook.

Houston was looking great and even though they have a great defense,
this loss may be too much to overcome.

I don't want to say they'll be worse off with Leinhart. Everyone expected the Patriots to suck when Brady went down but Cassel did well. I think Leinhart wants to make up for his being pretty much a bust in the NFL, and hell, maybe he can do it.

If there's one team in the AFC other than the Broncos I want to see in the Super Bowl, it's definitely the Texans.

Schaub was barely throwing the last couple of weeks anyways. If you want Leinart to just be a game manager, you can lean on the O-line and the running backs I think. And I'd believe AJ will make a mediocre QB look good. If Fitzgerald can make Skelton look good, AJ surely can make Leinart look good.

They don't even have to throw it to AJ.

Just check it down to Foster and he'll run 60+ yards.

Why is it the ravens are incapable of beating shitty teams yet they can sweep the steelers and beat the texans and jets?

Schaub was 11 of 15 for 242 yards and 2 TDs against the Bucs Sunday
and the Ravens seem to play their best on the home field.

Right, but again, it's more about the weapons on hand. Foster, Tate, Daniels, Jones, Dressen, and if they get Johnson back they're completely loaded. I think the Texans can trust Leinart as far as he can utilize them, especially coming off a bye. Get past the Bengals in Week 14 and I think they're set.

IIRC, Rosenfels has some sort of blood disease and can't play, so they're better off with Leinart.

Fewer number of games I am looking forward to this next week...only really:

Bengals (6-3) vs Ravens (6-3) looks like a match-up semi interesting...

Only a semi interest? The Steelers have a bye week and the loser of the game in Baltimore
falls two games behind in the AFC North. With so many 5-4 teams in the Conference
every game is going to be big from here on out.

The Bears host the Chargers and the Giants are at home against a fading Eagles team that
can't hold onto 4th Quarter leads. Both those match-ups are close to being playoff games.

No way we're going to win tomorrow if our plan is to throw it 8 times. In the first drive against the Lions, Tebow threw a pass to Decker which looked like a touchdown to me (I think it was challenged, but my stream of the game froze obviously so I didn't see why it wasn't a touchdown). Then against Oakland he threw another beauty to Decker for a score.

But the Jets are going to plan on putting 8 in the box all day so our first drive better not be a three straight run three and out.

Yeah, I have to say, after Lloyd got traded, Revis is probably going to target Decker and force Royal and Thomas to beat cromartie and probably have man coverage across the board.

That and McGahee is probably out, so you're down to your third string RB.

Another thing is that while our offense is gimmicky, the Jets' offense is actually ranked ONE BELOW ours in total yards. We're very close in rush defense allowed and they're 10 spots above ours in pass defense but we're not a passing team.

It's gonna be really close I think. The Jets don't have a McFadden (or even a Michael Bush, for that matter) because Greene isn't as good as people think and Tomlinson is old. Sanchez also makes bad decisions and I wouldn't be surprised if Bailey gets another two pick game. Though, our nickel/dime backs aren't great so receivers like Curley and Plax are going to play well against them I think.

Well LT is confirmed out. I think the Jet's are going to go back to the ground and pound, and take shots vertically. And Plax is their go to red zone guy, I expect him to get a short score, possibly 2. Jet's have a pretty low scoring offense, but I think their defense can come up with a fumble recovery or INT to give them extra possessions.

It certainly helps that our 1 and 2 RBs are out.

Excited for this game considering my entire family likes the Jets.
