With the rapidly growing community here at CC, the time has come to open a few positions in the community team. If you are interested in any of the following, please PM me with a short description of why you want to do it, what you bring to the team and community and approximately how much time you can commit to the project. Please send these in before this Sunday (13th) at 5pm.
Tournament Organizer:
The tourney organizer will be responsible for not only running a minimum number of tournaments but also for establishing a procedure and framework within which these tournaments can run. Lackattack is working on certain tournament features, but in the interim, and to take some workload off of him, this person will be responsible for finding or creating an appropriate script or form which can efficiently organize rules, players, progression and winners. If you have done any tournament organizing before, please include where/how long/size or tournament and any other info you think is relevent.
Maps and Suggestions Co-Ordinator
As everyone no doubt has noticed, map creation and suggestions have become rather hap-hazard with much duplication and little organization. This person's job will be to attempt to give ryhme and reason to primarily the maps section as well as the suggestions section. Please include any ideas you have to organize the section(s) should you choose to apply.
Moderators
Over the next week I will be approaching several people about joining the mod team, we will be adding 2 moderators who will be responsible for avoiding catastrophe. The mod team will attempt to stay as low key as possible, this is after all a forum for you, not for us
