First of all, dazza is a guy.

Second, I wasn't asking for people to vote MeDeFe, I was trying to get him to come to the game. I have mentioned multiple times that he isn't doing anything and instead of coming in, he remains silent. I'm not the only one who said something either. betiko said something about it as well.

This was his last post, 6 days ago:

Let's pressure Leitz then. Scummy stuff > nothing.

Before this post, he hadn't done anything either. I'm really starting to think he's scum will all of this laying low and letting the fight go on between dazza and Leitz.

Right now the way I see it is that the overall cases against both Leitz and dazza are relatively weak. My main issue with Leitz was not much posting (for which an explanation has been offered) but also that the posts that were made did not have much substance in them - where Leitz built the case against dazza was probably the first post with any major substance. I think that's the main issue mentione otherwise.

the case against dazza is not much either. mostly as I see it the argument is whether he offered to hammer simply because chap had already done so (Yes dazza I know you have provided your defense to this - no need to do so again - I've seen it) . MeDeFe has been silent and It would be nice to hear what he has to say although I must say I have not been getting as much of a scum vibe as I had initially gotten. I'm going to try to review the whole of Day 2 today so I can make a more meaningful post in a while.

I don't really like this, I don't think Dazza is scum (and I am usually biased to think he IS scum). But I must admit the two cases are close decisions, I just get more scummy feelings from Leitz.

Same here but who knows.

not a surprising claim overall. the name fits as a VT. I don't think any of us expected dazza to claim anything but VT anyway. At this point in time I'm more inclined to believe dazza than not though. When I've finished reviewing Day 2 I'll be in a better position to say what and how.

yeah i think the character fits with a VT for dazza, I tend to believe his claim. I wouldn't ve expected anything else than a VT claim either; my suspicions on him where based on things that he could've done as a scum on day 2; but i think he is more likely to be what he says he is, it all rather stands. he didn't wait the last moment to claim..

I'm having some renewed interest in Jonty. He was on Trini early in the day but unvoted without jumping on either case.

jonty125 wrote:unvote I aren't going to get support for a trini lynch

Leitz and dazza both have 3 votes so town need to back one case or we'll end up splitting the vote for a no lynch (I personally recommend dazza)

basically saying. Hey we have the vote split and we need to get a primary target, recommends Dazza but doesn't vote him at this point. But as momentum shifts towards dazza on it's own:

jonty125 wrote:Well strike put you at L-3

vote dazza

Now you're at L-2

I find this more suspicious than what Dazza has been done. Added to some earlier misrepresenting of Rodion's case:

unvote vote Jonty

Well you kind of did the same thing.....but kind of worse.... Can you provide more quotes of evidence of why you think Jonty is scum?

Here you say Leitz looks like the best option to vote....

Epitaph, just because Leitz tried to make a case on dazza, doesn't make him scummy. What would you do if you were getting pressured? What else would you have him do? Roll over and take it? That is the best option he has if he isn't an obvious town power role. And he if he is, it's a better option than having to claim. Especially at this point. So, do I think Leitz is scummy? A little, but not in any way because he tried to make a (potentially) better case against dazza.

MeDeFe?

My point is that it took pressure from the rest of us before he started doing anything of substance. I understand that he was busy before Christmas, but even on D3 he was posting but not saying anything until someone (I think it was chap) mentioned he was kinda scummy. Sure, highlighting another player can be one way to deal with pressure, but I just find the timing of such a case suspect.

Like I said earlier, I didn't find Dazza's offer to hammer scummy. But I have a feeling D3 will come down to whether we like a case against her or Leitz.

I thought MeDeFe was submarining for the first half of the game, but then came around at the end of D2 when many people were tailing off. I could be mistaken about the timing, but I'll go back and check. The lack of inactivity was the only thing that stuck out to me re: MeDeFe.

Pretty much what Epitaph said. The only thing that sticks out to me about MeDeFe is inactivity and on Day 3 in a game where overall activity has been decent, we can do better than that. Meanwhile, Leitz became more active when pressure was thrown his way as Epitaph said. I find him the most viable lynch.

But then you voted dazza because we were split.....

The simple answer is neither case was moving. The only person who seemed to realize this that wasn't already on one of the bandwagons was playing it cautious (very cautious in my opinion which is why it surprised me that Jonty was so quick to vote Dazza when the stalemate was broken). I never said I didn't like the dazza case. I supported it to an extent. I just found the Leitz case to be more straight forward with less possible alternative reasons for his behavior.

I had already said I would support a dazza lynch but I didn't want us to split the vote. Anyway VT is very easy scum fakeclaim so I'm going to hold fire on the unvoting.

Yup.

You were inactive(I know you gave reasons for this), then as soon as it looked like the pressure was coming your way you made a case on me. I think it is a pretty weak case and it seemed you just wanted to shift the attention my way.

With the deadline just a week away I think we need to start doing something.

It's logical you'll find it a pretty weak case as it is a case on you! I've not played mafia for a long time, but I doubt anyone will ever say a case on themselves is a strong case. If you ask me, your defense & arguments are pretty weak.

What more do I need to say? I have claimed its up to you guys to decide if you believe it or not.

All the case is on me is that I offered to hammer after chap offered. I offered because I believed it was a fakeclaim. Maybe after chap offering I should have stayed quiet.

That is basically all your case is on me so what else can I say in defence of it?
