While I absolutely sympathize with his intentions, I fear he may have "lost" his daughter at this point. Obviously, he knows her and I don't, so he may be actually taking the path that will get her to see things with a different perspective. But this seems like the sort of thing that would cause a teen to absolutely turn off the path of potential forgiveness. That would be unfortunate.

Why do you believe the stupidity of someone's parent would cause someone to become a stripper? My dad wasn't the sharpest lightbulb, yet I've never become a stripper.
