Are you suggesting no lynch? Either we force another claim, or lynch jgordon or BG for their claims. And edocsil's softclaim has gone unnoticed by everyone, so I don't count it.

We could go with a NL, but I am not in favor of that. As for not posting in 4 days I have been swamped with stuff that got me away from CC (I even missed several turns during that period...). But I also don't want to out any more of town's roles since it will just hurt us in the long run and give mafia a good chance to choose a good target.

If we wanted to lynch someone I would say we go with JG, since I don't want to lynch a claimed doc, unless their was a counterclaim, but I don't see it coming at this point. I also really don't like the deal BG made, I also know if it were me I would have made it in hopes of getting a claim out, since that was what we were after, but never would have claimed myself unless actually pressured (especially with his role, although it could be a very good fake claim, while trying to draw the mafia after him during the night phase).

As for the tree thing in JG's claim, I actually thought it was a tree stump, but then that is a really weird role, and have only seen it used once, and that was a crazy game to say the least.

And this is why I fought hard to keep from claiming,on weak evidence and bandwagon.

Ugh...really? Lying if you're town for no particularly good reason? Honestly, if I were the real doc, I would totally counterclaim because I would have thought that I caught a scum. I mean, sure, I probably will die, but it's more or less the same as trading a cop for a scum lynch. The rationale for fakeclaiming town doc is just really poor. Selfish play that puts the self above the good of town.

I'd guess that greater than 50% of cases brought forth by people in early games tend to be townies accusing other townies, which makes playing with claims more dangerous because chances are it's two townies fighting each other.

I am here, and reading along, but honestly I do not know what to do at this point. I really do think that forcing another claim is very risky right now, but a NL doesn't accomplish a whole lot either.

Thanks saf hadnt thought it out like that,BG you are now off my list lol.Sorry about the tough fight and now for getting you to claim, a lesson learned there for me not to ask for a deal like that it may suck in the long run.

uh yeah. fake claiming doc when you're town is not good.
I did that in a RT once. I was Town Bulletproof, so figured if I could get myself to #1on mafia's hit list, I could prevent the NK.
But it back-fired, as the next day saf counterclaimed and I got lynched, then saf died that night (or actually I don't remember what happened, but I assume he did).

So, yeah, claiming doc isn't best thing when you're town.

well, if you claim doc and the mafia targets you, the real doc should then protect you. if successful, you are innocent. if fake doc isnt attacked, he is a fraud

for one, there was no counter claim, and if there's any power roles there's likely to be a doc.

I assume you are referring to edoc. I know he's been leading discussion the whole way. We'll deal with him when and if the time comes for that. He can be quite cynical but I'm sure he's really a great guy underneath.

Honestly I don't think you're a bad player you just don't know how to react when the random bandwagon lands on you. Don't worry, you'll get used to it (eventually). You can't win 'em all, but you can try.

And honestly I find the deal thing BG did to be a clever way to get fakeclaim out, but at this point it seems a counterclaim is unlikely, so it would seem he's really doc.

So I have my suspicions of other people as well, but... can we get a VOTE COUNT / DEADLINE STATUS ANNOUNCEMENT? (I'm not asking for a deadline to be put in place, I'm asking if there is one)

But I don't lie about my role PM. In memebase I seriously didn't get my role. (it appears it was deleted before I could open it). And I seriously didn't get my role PM this time around either until the post when I mentioned I got it.

Alright, don't have my role PM yet, so I don't know if I'm playing on the town side or mafia side, but I'll throw my thoughts out either way right now.

First, I sense some major bandwagoning here. Some people are playing "follow the leader" and although I don't know their intentions or whether it's good or bad I'd like to point it out.
page 22: Leehar votes Com9 for inactive, jgordon and IB (funny how that nickname just came up recently, in M:tG we called him "Iron" to my recollection; it reminds me of I.B. [url]http://www.ibo.org/[url] ) follow soon afterward with vote. I come in, claim mafia godfather, and then leehar unvotes, followed by jgordon and later IB.
So, I suspect something going on here, but at least they're active. I don't know what's going on exactly but it seems a lot of others are inactive (mas o menos), but I'll admit I skipped over the non-voting posts (such as that of edoc and saf) when looking at this pattern.

Wait, was it jgordon we got the claim of auto-biometric tree or something that could kill at night? don't remember... I'll go back and check real quick... ok here it is:
