I like the idea, but i would encourage a higher number than 5. something that takes at least 2 separate victories....

Voting no.

The idea is great, the reason for a no vote is simply due to the closed maps. If you don't have them already, then you have no way of getting them crossmapped. If closed maps were to be excluded from the list (or made available permanently), I'd vote yes in a heartbeat. This would be equal to setting a 4k max score limit for players joining after 2011, rendering them practicall unable to achieve Conqueror rank.

But there are times where the maps are opened for everyone to play for things like special events.

I'm aware of that, though these events are very rare.

Simply put - I don't think that's good enough.

I'd be for if they were either excluded from the cross-map count or released permanently.

93% voted for yes and most of poster don't have any idea, what is this exactly.

Just play 10 1vs1 on every map (more, if your winning-rate below 50% in 1vs1)... and done! Very competitive right?

You already can get a medal for this. If you don't know what it is, it's your fault.

I already have the gold medal. You beat 5 different people on a map and then that map is "cross-mapped". 20 maps is bronze, 40 is silver, and 60 is gold.

The suggestions is just to put this on the scoreboard.

You didn't have to show me the link, I know what cross-map is :)

I just can't see how this cross-map achievement add a new competition and another standard for skill. If this based on 5 unique defeats for each map, we don't need skill to achieve that. Like I said before, just play 10 1vs1 sequential game on every map (or more, if your 1vs1 winning rate below 50%).

But if the calculation is based on the number of players that you beat minus the number of players who beat you in every map, and for example it's needed at least 5 points to be counted, I admit this as a skill.

Something like Kill-Ratio in Map-Ranks addon

Well, I agree that it doesn't take an extraordinary amount of skill, it does take some work and determination. And if you can beat 5 different people on every map, then you have done something that is difficult and hard to maintain because of new maps constantly coming out.

Also, it doesn't take skill to play the most games, but that is on the scoreboard.

Great idea, I love trying out new maps, but was "disappointed" to get the gold medal so easily compared to the other medals. Therefore the suggested method of keeping track of progress certainly gets my vote.

OMG,
Its need to have only one vote support, and these need to be vote of Lackattack. If he say "hmm, these is not so great ,like Conquer Cup,and i dont see benefit here"", then these will not be submited.
You need to be in some very nice connection with lack,to be implemented fast, if you are not some relatives with LAck,be prepare to waith some 3-6 years that these idea be implemented.
Only if these bring some Benefit to CC $$, then who knows, maybe these will be implemented fast.
I just vonder how these sugestion get 600 votes, maybe someone send a lot PM for support?? :-$
