You quote yourself to prove that he's right? Because all you've shown is that he's right and that you don't seem to understand what the term "sexism" means. It doesn't necessarily have anything at all to do with hatred of women. There's a different term for that...though one that also seems to fit you.

Human libido has a very mechanical component, and is controlled by parts of the brain outside of cognitive areas. For example, the hypothalamus, part of the limbic system, is responsible for gonadotropic hormones (well actually the pituitary but the hypothalamus stimulates the pituitary), especially luteinizing hormone which stimulates ovulation in women and testosterone production in men.

The only reason sex "feels good" is because it satisfies cues and actions put forward in anticipation by our bodies, i.e. we get horny. Satisfaction is only a means to an end.

It may be true to some lower mammals and other lifeforms, but higher primates clearly have sex for pleasure only (as well as for proecreation). Look at bonobo chimps. They have bisexual relationships that have nothing to do with procreation and insteand only serve to strengthen social bonds.

The evolutionary reason for the existence of our libido may well be procreation, originally. However we have evolved since caveman times, we are capable of differentiating between sex and procreation, and most people have sex because it feels good.

Human behaviour is a complex subject, especially sexual behaviour. And to simplify the whole subject into "we just subconsciously want to make babies" is reductionist and foolish.

I think you're missing the point. It's all well and good that we can differentiate between casual sex and procreation, but there's still a reason that we even have the desire to fornicate. It feels good because that'll ensure we keep active in intercourse. The limbic system is responsible for our emotions and drives, and is largely outside of cognizant control. This means that the desires for sex aren't part of your conscious decision-making.

People often overestimate their consciousness. We're pretty much always responding to cues presented from more primitive parts of our brain. It just so happens that the cerebrum is the largest and most prominent part, but much of it is devoted to sensory and general interpretation.

it works in other situations. a man has 5 apples. a woman has 1. the women wants there to be 3 apples for her and 3 for the man. the man is greedy, and would rather keep his 5 apples to himself.

by your logic, my 'apple' scenario is sexist. but it is not. he does not keep the apples for himself out of sexism - he keeps them out of greed. it is the same with power. the white man does not keep power out of racism, sexism, agism etc. he keeps it because he started life with that power and wants to keep it. for you to call it sexist is silly and avoids the concept that is really at play (greed)
