CC, hate speech and heavycola

Hello!

So I was trying to see whether someone could find my bookface page by using what experts call my 'online handle'. I googled 'heavycola' and 'facebook' and, while i couldn't find my fb page, I did get this result.

It turns out some academic has used an old post of mine as an example of hatred towards disabled people. This is obviously a source of great pride, not just for me I hope but for the whole CC community. Not only is this forum now used as a source of scholarly research, it is also a forum where prejudice and hatred can flourish in true 1st Amendment style. And that surely is down to the moderators and the superb job they do.

More importantly: lawyers, is there any chance of making any money off this dude?

Also, as a lawyer, I don't think there's any way you can make money off of this unless you copyrighted that particular statement somehow. As long as it's credited to you, I think he gets away with it.*

I wonder if you could sue this dude for libel. If you go by heavycola in a number of internet circles and you can prove damages, you could sue this dude for besmirching your good internet name.
