Role Setup:
The house of capulets and the house of montegue was exactly equal, except for Romeo Montegue and Juliet Capulet (who were only Montegue/Capulet by name (they were in the green faction), for the win condition they did not count as their family, but as their own faction, more an that further in the post) Just to clarify, Romeo and/or Juliet did not need to die to claim victory for either side. (i'll make a list at the end of the post for alternate win scenarios).
There were 5 Capulets and 5 Montegues (not counting R&J)
Lord Capulet and Lord Montegue (Leehar and jgordon) were both roleblockers. my logic behind this was, they're both very powerful, and have the right to order someone not to do things.
Lady Capulet and Lady Montegue (Sg7 and Sparta) were doctors. It was just convenient for me this way. However, even though their role pms did not state it, they alternated nights, lady capulet could only protect on odd nights, while lady Montegue could only protect on even nights. (The roleblockers could both block each night tho, and 2 rolesblockers and 1 doctor each night would provide a lot of protection if used correctly)
The vigs chapcrap and some7hingclever, Tybalt Capulet (obvious choice) and Benvolio Montegue (also a quite obvious choice), Also alternated nights. the capulet vig was active the same night as the montegue doctor, and vice versa. chap asked me repeatedly why he almost never got a succesfull kill, well, half of the time his role got ignored (the odd nights) and the other times he was either blocked, or he hit a doc-protected target. I ddn't want the vigs to kill too many players, as in the play, most people were actually killed during the day, i also wanted to have some discussion during the night, however, i did want at least some mysterious kills in it, so that's why i placed two heavily restricted vigs in the game to spice things up a little. (also, they are tied to a win condition, explained later)
to fill up the other 2 roles in each family without having vanilla's as well as giving each family at least SOME information about who is on their side (without the help from outsiders like Brother John) i gave each family two masons. they were Alt and VS (replaced by pmc) for the capulets and bleed_green and ghostly for the montegue side. They were both allowed to talk day and night, however judging by their forum activity i doubt they used that right to the fullest.
Romeo and Juliet were masoned to each other (however they were only allowed to talk every other night), knowing they were both from opposite factions, they had some information about the game setup, like their whole team, but not too much to break the game.
They knew there were two vigs, so they could safely assume each family had one, They knew there was a player named Count Paris in the game (it was part of their win condition that Count Paris must die), they also knew that borther lorzenzo (Frair Lawrence) was on their side, or at least he had to stay alive. (more details about their exact WC will follow) They both had an abilty to save them from getting killed too soon, in fact, their whole faction had some form of protection, because their win condition required 3 of their team of 4 to survive, and even while losing their 4th player would not instantly lose them the game, it would make it MUCH harder.
in the green faction (R&J's side) were Prince Escalus (eldario)(the only one in the faction who didn't need to live in order for their faction to claim a win, however, losing him would make it much harder)
Prince Escalus was a governor, who could prevent a lynch (that was what the twilight was for, to give Prince Escalus 24 hours to decide) however he could only use it twice in the whole game, if he was to be lynched however, he'd automatically use the abilty on himself, and this would not count toward the two times he could use it, this ability could only be used once however.
Another player in the R&J faction was Brother Lorenzo, he was required for them to win, because he was the one that planned the 'fake poison trick' when he died, Juliet was no longer a reviver, their win condition also changed, but more on that later.
then finaly there were the oranges, and they were both just survivors, noone was tied to each other in the orange team.
Count paris and Borther John, Count paris was there to make some chaos in the night scenes, trying to stay alive while spicing up the game a bit, also he was part of R&J's win condition (as long as he lived, they could not claim a win) Brother John was there to help by giving valueable pieces of information to everyone.
