An Old Lady, Your Best Friend, and the Woman of your Dreams

Postby pimpdave on Mon Mar 05, 2012 2:30 am

Are all at a bus stop waiting for their bus. You drive up in a car with only two seats.

The old lady is dying and needs to get to a hospital. If you don't give her a ride she'll die before the bus can get her there. If you do, it'll save her life.

Your best friend saved your life in war. You've always wanted to do something to help him.

The woman is everything you've always hoped for, a perfect match.

You can give a ride to only one person. Whoever you leave behind you will never see again. What do you do?

(Note: this is way better than a thread encouraging people to state that they want to murder a customer)

An oldie-but-goodie.

Since I know the answer, I'll be a gentleman and let some people who don't know it have a chance to enjoy the puzzle...:)

I'd get my best friend to drive the old lady to the hospital, and I'd stay behind to f*ck the hottie at the bus stop*

*Bus stop help to start intercourse

Wanna makeout while you're waiting for your bus?

or

Do you always talk to strangers at bus stops?

I always wondered where the overflow from Atmospheric Noise went?

Give the old lady your car and spend time with the other two?

It's a trick question. My old lady is my best friend AND the woman of my dreams.

There's no right or wrong answer, per se. But the one Aradhus gave is the one that shitty hiring managers think demonstrates thinking outside the box (although you're supposed to say hang out with the woman of your dreams).

Hell, it's the answer I'd give in an interview, Aradhus. If a hiring manager asks you that question, you know he's shitty and it gives you the upper hand. Just make sure you pretend to think about it, as if you've never heard it before.

Also, Id take the old lady, thats the only externalised positive action. Both other options are internal benefits.

Old lady's at the end of her life though, how do you know that by missing the opportunity to hit it off with the woman of your dreams you're not paving the way to having a child that does something amazing, like cure cancer or get the high score on Frogger?

Because theyll be my offspring?

SELFDEPRECIATING ZING!

Only reason id take the old lady is because of the dying thing, if shes just sick then i'd consider the other two. Dead old ladies before bros before hoes.

questions like these are highly influenced by additional information that we provide by ourselves upon reading the question.

for example, a single guy would be more likely to take the woman than a married guy, not because his personality is different, but because of his life circumstances.

This question needs not be answered by any conservatives. Public transport is government funded socialist bullshit and your taxes are paying for this commie bollocks.

If there is a puddle by the bus stop - drive through it and soak the sponging cunts

I would take the old lady. The old friend isn't in any danger of dying, and as for the "woman of my dreams"... wtf, if I see her for the first time how would I know she's the "woman of my dreams"? What does that even mean anyway?

The premise of the question is flawed, because it assumes there's this one special "perfect match" for every person, the whole "mr./ms. right" myth which is total hollywood bullshit.

I think the best solution is to buy a car with more than two freaking seats. Function trumps style any day.
