Red Bull pulls Ad featuring Jesus...

Haha, this was my favorite of the few comments I read:

You know the liberals and atheists are quick to tell us "don't take it too serious and have a sense of humor". Fine, I will never buy Redbull again and I will ask my friends to do the same. But if the commercial was saying was that if Munching rug or having a sausage has gotten you down then have a Redbull to lift you up I have no doubt you would be acting like savages. Just as if they stated Hey Mohammed have a Redbull,it goes good with a ham sandwich, just make sure your old lady has none or she might wrap her wings around an infidel. You hipocrits make me sick. The bottom line is the last thing people want is a religious war or another crusade. Keep this trash out of America because most people in this country love Jesus and are armed. Ain't afraid to die but even more important ain't afraid to kill. Just because the liberal media portrays us as the minority, trust me ,we are not.

Red Bull has had to pull its latest commercial after it received more than 100 complaints in one evening. The animated spot, which ran in South Africa, shows a "bored" Jesus climbing out of a boat to walk on water. "It's not a miracle," he tells the disciples. "You just have to know what the stepping stones are." He then slips and shouts his own name. "We suggest that the marketing team make a serious effort to attend sensitivity training," the Southern African Catholic Bishops' Conference said. "Faith based symbols are more than marketing opportunities."

Hahaha, brilliant.

Maybe by RedBull having a Jesus Add, some people may have seen the "truth" and flocked to Christianity?

I think that comment is funny because if there was a commercial like that I wouldn't care either.

Is the highlighted section actually implying that he will take up arms to defend jesus from being made fun of in commercials? and this came directly after he says "the last thing people want is another crusade." That don't make no sense! :geek:

But seriously that's retarded. Everything he wrote after "I will never buy a Redbull again" is really really retarded.

He basically said he's going to shoot up an advertising agency, for the love of Jesus.

Remember when that Swedish cartoonist was threatened with jihad for drawing an unflattering picture of Muhammad? This reminded me of that. In fact, I was going to comment "let the Catholic jihad begin" until I read that guy's comment.

Those would be the crusades, no? I think they began a while ago.

Ostensibly, the crusades were an attempt to take back a holy city (in reality, they were a power/resource/wealth grab). A crusade wouldn't be appropriate against a few individual producers. Jihad is the more appropriate word (especially in light of Christian McShooty's comments above).
