The TEA party has, in many places, been co-opted by the Neoconservative agenda. This is clear from the fact that Santorum has been able to lay claim to the "TEA Party candidate" label. I don't know about other states, but Alabama's TEA Party actually endorsed Santorum for President, despite the fact that Santorum, as a big-Government authoritarian conservative, is essentially the polar opposite of what the TEA Party was originally based on.
Because of the shift in the TEA Party, I am revoking any allegiance I once held to them. As such, I am now able to reveal a very deep TEA Party Secret: Pimpdave is a TEA Party agent. He has long been a sympathizer, but he was tasked with an important mission: to de-legitimize any criticism of the TEA Party. He was ordered to come up with incredibly ridiculous and easily-refuted attacks on the TEA Party and to do so with sufficient volume and frequency as to drown out any real criticisms. And he has succeeded marvelously - when is the last time we had a thread with a legitimate attack on the TEA Party?
But now, pimpdave, my friend, I think we can bring the campaign to an end. The TEA Party we used to know and love has been taken over by the other side, and I can no longer in good conscience help you maintain this effort to support those who we have for so long opposed.
