I mean, that's how it works, right? Anything Obama does, you guys do backwards, right?
nope... anything hypocritical Obama does, we comment on while maintaining our views. I personally have no views on the legality of gay marriage, although i didn't under Bush, and haven't at any time under Obama.

Obama isn't against them. Watch video and don't let PS trick you.

It's not a trick. It only seems that way if you view this issue as a "ban on gay marriage" rather than a "definition of marriage as between one man and one woman".
To say Obama wasn't against it is a trick from Obama. I think Saxi mentioned it earlier, it's just a way to keep the back door open, otherwise known as CYA. People do this when they are lying, which is all you need to know it's an Obama trick.
Obama knows if he supports gay marriage, he loses. What he also know is that in this current politico-socio-economic environment, he does not want to talk about crappy job reports and back-to-back-to-back trillion dollar deficits. Gay marriage is a social issue, social issues are wedge issues. Expect a lot of social issue attacks, all in a time of national credit downgrades and into the precipice of the debt bubble explosion and credit crunch sandwich.
The economy, jobs, and debt are the main issues to American voters, by a mile. by 100 miles.
