I know a few, but it depends on what position you play,

Inside/outside center.
Over this summer I have to build my upper body and get in shape...I realized this spring that I'm so poorly fit.

Don't dismiss me off hand. Judo lessons are great for centres. Backs are crap at doing the basic of tackling. And centres have to put in tackles. Judo is a quick way to learn how to tackle and how to avoid injuries when tackled. Two lessons of judo will teach you skills you never thought about.
You'll be better at tackling and better at taking a tackle. Fun thing is, you can probably get those lessons free if there's a dojo nearby. A lot of them offer a free lesson.

However, they do offer a very broad range of muscle workouts, so if you don't want to get so much into weights and whatnot, I can PM you some exercises you can do on an erg. Your school gym probably has one and all regular gyms have them.

I wasn't dismissing the judo lessons. I don't think I'd be able to take lessons over the summer...

The position he's playing doesn't really need to emphasise upper body strength. Cardio is the main focus, legs next, and upper body tertiary. If the team is playing right, upper body strength in a centre is only necessary for injury prevemtion.

Oh, I thought I read something in the thread about upper body strength.
But yeah, I'm part of our rowing team, so I'd be happy to pass along some good workouts that will help build good cardio-vascular tissue, and give you good endurance. There are a whole lot of machines that you can use to work whatever muscle group you want, but ergs are the most inclusive machines there are, since the rowing stroke uses almost every muscle you have.

When you're doing it, have your mother throw a bucket of water at you every couple of minutes. Makes you miserable and soggy, just like you should be when you're training.

We realized it far before this spring.
You need to load a backpack with 70 lbs and run flat out for 1 mile. That'll fix you up. If you have access to a canvas sack or a punching bag, rig it up to a frame and practice tackling it... Better if somebody is able to push it around so that you miss, sometimes, and land on your face. Teach you not to miss your tackles.
