ok so you vote me for bandwagoning? but you do the same? does this make sense to anyone?

jak111 wrote:Aye, Vote S7C

I'm glad I didn't have to bring up the sheep part, because that is what I was discussing with Doom, S7C is a sheep in this entire game. He's contributed nothing besides restating or quoting things. He doesn't have his own opinion.

Yes, LSU, I wanted information, we were getting no where D1 and I for one wanted to go somewhere.

agreed but i also disagree

agree- i have been not contributing so much to the game. but neither have half the other people. i also agree that i follow bandwagons. its what i do. i do it to progress the game. notice i dont stay on them long at all. mainly when they defend themselves. i will wait till they defend then i will back off to see what the other has to say. my vote is like..incentive..i want them to give it there best shot at defense and convince me to back off. thats all

disagree- that i dont have my own opinion this is wrong cause i sure as heck do. in my post i state my opinion. so what if its the same as other people. thats not scummy thats called case made opinion made. do you know what i mean?

if someone was running for president or any office were votes are needed and they say dannnng im voting this guy cause blah blah blah does that mean i cant say oh ok well i cant vote for him cause that opinion is taken sorry. no it makes zero sense to vote someone because there opinion is the same as another mans.

fastposted.
yes i remember. but to do what i did and vote me for it is hypocrytical

too bad we can't hear from cowboyz, but my guess is that he didn't do anything on night 1. my intuition is that the SK is the one that missed both nights and the mafia did both kills?

also, why would they target cowboyz? i think it could be interesting to look back at what he said or voted for; might find stuff that mafia found dangerous for themselves.

A lot of you I think are confusing the suits. Smith(sk), aka dark suit 2 has killed twice. The agents(scum) aka dark suit 1 have failed to kill twice. White suit (seraph) was the first target for the agents, but there is nothing to explicitly suggest that they chose the same target again.

how would you know that? what possible evidence in saf's scenes can make you come up with those conclusions?

The fact the 1st attacker was disappointed again implies he is the same person that the doc stopped night 1.

The fact that the 2nd attacker used the term inevitable implies he is agent smith (who many people think would be SK). Since attacker 1 has missed twice, smith must be responsible for killing both freezie and cowboyz.

I do agree that cowboyz didn't target anybody either night.

Betiko, I hope you get this. I am 100% in agreement with chuck here

was "it"s inevitable" smith's catch phrase in the movie? if so i fully agree with the flavour analysis, if not, i don't see how we could differenciate the normal agents from smith..
anyway, do you think that for game ballance it's very hard for the mafia to perform kills or is it just that we got lucky?
could the scum have targeted twice the same guy seeing he was over protected on night 1, therefore an important power role?

I think we should look back at who was NK'd and see who they were suspicious of to determine who we should take a closer look at:

Freezie was voting Dazza

freezie wrote:Hippo is dropping bombs everywhere. In all his games. I'll take your reason: '' Unfortunatly, TheHippo's play fits his meta perfectly''

What's good for one should be good for the other. Anyway, just a note.

TheHippo's case on betiko/Dazza/Spart was, at best, ridiculous. Dazza himself aknowledges that. However, it seems to me that he went over-defensive very quickly with no pressure, at all.

Unvote

Vote: Dazza
for, what seems to be, over-reacting on nothing.

Since we haven't heard from Dazza since May 4th...

dazza2008 wrote:

Hmm, I wonder though, the first part of the scene says they got away, so either Doc saved him/her or killer was roleblocked.

Any ideas for a lead?

Could be a roleblock or a doc save. I can't really tell from the scene.

I think we should start there. vote Dazza

while i don't think it was his catchphrase he did use the term frequently. courtesy of imdb:

Agent Smith: You hear that Mr. Anderson?... That is the sound of inevitability... It is the sound of your death... Goodbye, Mr. Anderson...
Neo: My name... is Neo.
---
Neo: What do you want?
Bane (who is actually Agent Smith): I want what you want... Yes. That's it, Mr. Anderson. Look past the flesh. Look through the soft gelatin of these dull cow eyes and see your enemy!
Neo: ...No.
Bane: Oh yes, Mr. Anderson.
Neo: It can't be...
Bane: There's nowhere I can't go. There's nowhere I won't find you.
Neo: It's impossible...!
Bane: Not impossible. Inevitable. Goodbye, Mr. Anderson.
---
Agent Smith: Get away from me!
Neo: What are you afraid of?
Agent Smith: It's a trick.
Neo: You were right Smith. You're always right. It was inevitable.
---
[after Neo has just defeated three Agents]
Agent Smith: That went as expected...
Agent Smith Clone: Yes.
Agent Smith: It's all happening exactly as before...
Agent Smith Clone: Well, not exactly...
[Agent Smith Clone smiles]

Agent Smith: [echoing] It is inevitable.

The shortest clip I could find. He usually says "it's inevitable", but this clip is good enough to prove the point.

Caution: Movie spoilers in this clip.

As for the Clever Case. I need to personally review it. I would be doing the same thing if I hopped on this BW without doing the research.

Well, yes. Quite honestly, I have no clue as to who is town and who isn't. I feel our power roles have not gotten anything useful in two nights. I feel that if you were the one protected on night one, or bus driven on night one, or whatever happened on night two, that someone will say that you are probably clear, and that it's a crap case. Keeping our power roles "safe" has cost us our vigilante and our watcher, and we've gotten lucky on two other kills. This is going terribly for town. I'm also not especially enamored with your soft claim of a power role here...

I guess the other option is that I'm an idiot. (which I'll admit is an entirely plausible option) :-s

Okay ... So I've been busy.

I created this chart ...

image

Based on this info ...

show

I don't claim to have picked everything up, but it makes for interesting reading.

The Chart hopefully doesn't miss anything important. The vote column is votes on, note that it is chronological and doesn't add votes off hence the apparent double-ups. Also the Fos column is based not just on direct Fos but also indirect Fos. Note Leehar generally Foses everyone on some votes ... hence the long list.

Some brief observations ...

First thing, I apologise to you Leehar. I missed the point of your posts ... every one of them. Obviously you know something the rest of us dunderheads don't and we need to listen to you.

Secondly, there are some interesting connections. Like Jonty tagging along with certain people.

Thirdly, good and bad alike, y'all picked up on my erratic play. But there are some interesting differences.

Anyway, having compiled this I am tired and will set out some further observations when my eyes re-focus!

Sorry back from hospital, Wife having twins and some complications happening. Will try to bring Ipad with me next time.

As for the flavor of the kill, I do have to agree that based on the summaries that Mafia has failed both nights and that Smith is more than likely the two kills just based on the statements. Since mafia has failed both times I have been going back through trying to read between the lines to pull anyone who would have information on them. I will put a FOS Dazza based on somethings that I read but based on clevers points and how he has been brought up both D2 and D3 after mafia had been stumped and quickly tossed back into the fray leaves me believing someone has something on them so I will cast my vote that way

Vote Clever

First, great job to hippo, and we were all complaining about his lack of contribution..

someone like ghostly that still didn't sow up, never voted, never fossed; basically is by far the most inactive in the game is still not showing up? FOS again!!

SG7, call it omgus all you want, but I have a weird feeling about you. I don't know, it's really nothing, and i didn't bring it up yet because i was waiting for other things from you:

shieldgenerator7 wrote:crash.. lost our vig. we still have a fighting chance. not too keen on night flavor as I only watched the first movie.

It's nothing in particular, it was just the timing, quite a few pages after the scene and emphocizing on the lost vig after the flavour conversations caught my attention.. that made it sound like a bad actor. "ohh nooo this is too bad!! we lost our vig!!" it really sounded like someone trying too hard for me at that momentum of the game. Since you are always scummy in every single game and often scum, I like my odds going after you. also, like you think I vote too much, I'll just do you a favour and vote again, if you think that was a point.

vote SG7!!

On the reread up to page 49, it looks like town did make a logical decision on day 1 lynch even though it did turn up town.

Hippo still doesn't make sense

Freezie was trying to fly under the radar, but evidently got the attention of somebody at night seeing how he was n1 killed and actually was a power role.

Daza seemed a bit suspicious to me, but can't quite say why while several people at various points also though Jonty was being a bit of a sheep
