I'd lol if the mod allowed that unvote, but just in case IB is right might as well spill the beans.

I am:

If IB is wrong and it was a lynch, I just died the only possible way I can.

The people in Skyrim were up in arms. They had been suspicious of jak since the beginning of the day, which was 2 hours ago, and now have him tied to a stake right now, at sunset.

"But I'm just a little girl!" jak shouted back. "Don't kill me."

"Little girl? You're a full grown man who spends all his time at the Bannered Mare drinking mead. Stendarr have mercy on you, Thalmor scum!" one villiger shouted back.

"But, you're making a mistake. Please, don't kill me!" jak replied.

"He's a Thalmor. BURN HIM!!!!" the crowd shouted.

The executioner lit the bruch underneath jak on fire. In an instant a purple cloud surrounded jak, and when it dissipitated jak was gone, and in his place was a red-skinned Dremora.

"I'm not a little girl, correct." he said, perfectly calm now. "I'm the Daedric Lord Sanguine, and all I wanted to do was spread merryment and enjoyment throughout Skyrim. Do I deserve your scorn?"

"He's a Daedra! BURN HIM!" the croud shouted.

"Well, I've never gotten this rude of a response before. I know when I'm not wanted. Just whenever you drink too much mead, or have fun with the lusty Argonian maids, just think of your old uncle Sanguine."

Another purple cloud surrounded jak, and just as quickly as he turned into his true form, he vanished.

jak (Sam Guevenne, Skyrim Bulletproof) has returned to Oblivion!

well that was unexpected, didn't suspect a daedric lord for a role, and a daedric lord that is pro-town (then again sanguine is quite the character....) imo a better fake-claim then a dead ghost girl would of been one of the many alchemists present in skyrim (possible doc roles?), it would of been much more believable, and would of taken advantage of your bulletproofness by possibly wasting the mafias night kill. sigh whats done is done however. D2 is gonna be interesting

Re: Skyrim Mafia Day 2: There Is One They Fear (15/18)

Postby everywhere116 on Sat May 19, 2012 8:28 pm

40 minutes after the lynch was made and the sun set, the sun rose once again and the province of Skyrim was once again ready to confront the Thalmor threat head on. The town was still shocked that a Deadra had walked among them, drinking their mead and seducing their women. The meeting of Skyrim's best commenced today in Whiterun's Dragonsreach, where the dead of last night were brought and given their last rights.

The first body brought forward belonged to Iron Butterfly. His stiff, lifeless body still possessed all the evidence of his crimes against shopkeepers across Tamriel, all the ledgers he forged, and all the potions, gems, and gold he stole.

"Those are my jewels!" one citizen exclaimed. Another shouted "My potionbook!"

"What is his body doing here?" Jarl Balgruuf questioned. "He may have died in the fight to protect Skyrim from the Thalmor, but he is still a criminal and a thief. We do not honor his kind here."

"His celebration was requested by the Jarl of Riften, sir," his court steward Proventus Avenicci said. "We do not want to insult her, and this man held a lot of sway in Riften.

"Of course he does." Balgruuf said, sarcastically. "We've done our part to appease her. Get rid of him."

"Yes, Jarl." Avenicci said. "Bring in the next body."

The guards brought up the next casket. The body inside was of stunning glory, both rugged and yet refined, and even in death exuded much power.

"No!" Balgruuf shouted. "No! Not him! Not my Thane! Is he really dead Proventus!?

"I'm sorry, sir. It is the Dragonborn. We are all indebted to him."

"Indebted? He is the only reason we are still alive! Still in possession of our very souls! Give him the finest burial! Give him the finest plot on the Hall of the Dead! Bury him with all his gold!"

"What are we to do now, Jarl?" Proventus asked.

"The loss of the Dragonborn is tragic, but we cannot let that get in the way of the fight against the Thalmor. Continue the efforts to find them! Give all the suppport to Tullius and the Imperials that you can!" Balgruuf responded.

"Yes, Jarl."

Brynjolf was a good guy (for a thief). He was the main quest giver in one of the major questlines.

The guy whose name is in red is the player character, which is why it is so strange that his name is in red. Perhaps Leehar elected to take a more Renegade path (might also imply Imperial ties, as the Imperials main color is also red and flavor suggests Imperial power in Skyrim).

Hm, well the role says "Skyrim joat", idk, I'd guess that skyrim means he was town.

I suppose the best course of action is to see who may have prefered these two as prime targets, as well as analyze the justification of why people were or were not on the jak wagon, the evidence is tricky though, since he was in fact lying I am personally more interested in the motives of those who didn't pressure him, as only scum would know who town is, that is often a main motivation to not BW town.

His name being in a darker red seems a little odd, but I would still maintain that the Dovahkiin being dead is not a good result for the town as he is the player character and the almighty protagonist.

Reviewing who would want certain people dead is pretty WIFOMy and it is not really the best course of action for scum hunting. I am kinda surprised you would suggest that. Your second argument is also pretty uninspiring - those that didn't pressure jak must be the scum as they would've known he was town? That doesn't sit right with me and seems a cop out and defence for yourself and others that were on the wagon, I wouldn't be surprised if there is at least a few scum on the wagon, jak acted scummy enough for the scum to subtly join it and ramp up the pressure on him.

Ah sorry, I don't know where my head's at, I agree with the first part.
But not the second part, completely at least, in principle you are right, however the timing in this case is important, last day there we very nearly came to a no lynch, because the vote was split and many players were submarining, if scum pressures town with a proper amount of time left, like town should, then there is always time left for a claim, and a possibility that the bandwagoners themselves be pressured; by either staying out of it, or waiting until the very last possible second, they ensure no retaliation.
However, it is pointless conjecture to use such broad strokes as "fos everyone here" or "fos everyone not here", unless you can get a straight answer. I will look for a solid case.
