The pool setup is beyond retarded.

Pool B of death yet c and d are rather meh...

If you ask me, group A is the one looking rather meh. At least C and D each have a couple of decent teams.

Yeh actually; all three are pretty feeble when you look at 4/4 pool B teams being pretty rock solid.

I voted England.......being a Stockport County fan(non-English and possibly English will need to google them) I've learnt to be the eternal fucking optimist, not that that helps any, really.

i m french and i voted the dutch. surprised to see they are ahead in polls in here; wonder if it's because we have a lot of dutch on the site or if other people objectively think this way like myself..

lol even the english wont vote for themselves  you know its bad when you think your a top team yet your own fans think otherwise.

for the record ireland have no chance in winning but if we do manage to get out of the group stages then we'll get to the quaters i think. spain and italy in our group though so i aint holding my breath.

i think you can be 100% certain that if you pass the group stage you'll make it to quarter finals!

i guess im still in CL frame of mind :) yep winners of group D will meet runners up of group C so since if we do progress it will be as runners up a possible Ireland - England match in the works for the first time in a very very long time and any match against england in any sport always gets our teams fired up.

I thought you were English until now. Why do the Irish support English teams?

I'm not sure if the games will even be shown on the major networks in the US, but I'm rooting for France.

I haven't followed international play since the CONCACAF gold cup, so I have no idea how good some of the teams are.

When you live on a shitty rock right next to a bunch of nice places (rest of europe) you tend to turn into a grumpy angry bunch of whiners.

Cut up that collective bunch of angry whiners into 4 different parts and naturally theyre gunna turn on themselves.

No it is only a playful hate, nobody really has any problems with England (except perhaps a few of the more mental IRA sympathisers). There is an independence referendum coming up in Scotland and most likely Scots will choose to remain part of the UK. Almost all Scots want England to lose at the Euros though as they are footballing rivals and they take over the TV coverage here with everything England and it gets annoying.

I think it is a shame you don't support your own leagues, they would improve a lot if they could get bigger crowds and TV audiences.

I like gaelic and would defo watch it if I lived in Ireland, mon the Donegal!

wow an american supporting france for the eurocup, that's unexpected!
i think the best we can do is semi finalists, meeting italy in quarter finals then losing vs germany or netherlands in semis.

Blanc has been doing a good job so far, but yes France is an outsider at best.

I vote Germany.

ARE YOU SERIOUS????

This is such bullshit. I don't care that we've played worse. We were just getting back in the game and the referee screwed us in all of 5 minutes. We should have 11 men and it should be 1-1 now with than handball.

yea ref is just shit so far , too many soft yellows given both of sokratis' yellows shouldnt have been given the first one was a 50/50 in the air and the second the polishplayer was already falling down.

in saying that poland do deserve the lead they have played better and have sliced greece open on that right side.
