How have you changed since you joined CC?

I joined CC on Dec 31, 2006 when I was living in Las Vegas NV when I was 26. I am now 32 and living in Seattle WA. Over the past 6 years I have obviously changed in many ways. I was recently looking through old posts of mine and sometimes hardly recognize myself.

So how about you? How have you changed since you joined CC?

I haven't personally changed much at all. However, my CC-persona has become a sarcastic, bitter, cynical occasionally-vulgar pain in the ass.

CC has made me less productive at work, that is for sure!

Aside from that I got married and had a baby girl.

I figured out CC existed via my ex-girlfriend, had another girlfriend in the mean time (German girl, wasn't supposed to last) and now live with my current girl for three years already. That means that this website is in my life for quite some time and I still like playing the game. That's the main reason you never hear me complain about the site, CC still does a very good job for me.

Also, since I joined CC, I've started to drink a lot more beer. I already liked it a lot, but my tolerance has grown to heights I couldn't foresee. That mightn't have a direct link to CC, perhaps it's just coincedence that the two went along on my chronological timeline. Since I started playing CC I have tried pretty much every drug that is on the market in Holland and also quit them all. I'm glad I quit in the experimentation phase, because it's just too easy to get. Now it's just beer and weed for me, that'll do.

And I was in high school when I started playing, now I'm almost ready to finish college this summer. Man, this website is actually a part of my life. This is a very confrontational thread.

I love how you talk about experimentation with drugs, but you quit them all, but still drink and smoke weed. I lol at weed not being a drug.

I came to this website to argue about philosophical things, mostly. Partly for amusement through other off-topic threads.
It's only been a few years since I joined... I had dropped out of college due to a downward spiral, utterly depressed and despairing about a year before joining. I have since recouped, more or less. I'm on track as far as moving on goes, making money and what-not, had a girlfriend, had roughly 5 some different jobs, had hit what I could basically call an all-time low, etc. (but again, recovered.) Still can't get this one girl's name out of my head... despite any chance being beyond long gone. (I had talked with my dad a long time ago and he said that he still thinks about this one girl that essentially "got away"... so I suppose I'm not creepy or anything - it must just be a romantic thing... Though every time I think about her name I get angry that I thought about her. I really just want to drop it completely.) I'm still trying to make this game for Facebook that I've been brainstorming on for the past two years... I'm about to move into my first apartment in less than two weeks and I'm extremely nervous about being able to make ends meet. I learned that it's better to be in a group's company when you're lonely even if they only consist of couples than it is to be absolutely alone. I've learned that I pretty much don't know a goddamn thing about relationships. Etc. Etc.
