So if there is no joking or chat how do we ever get to a serious case?

Surely there needs to be something to base it on. DiM explained it pretty well a couple of posts back. Someone often slips up in this joke stage and a serious case is made.

I asked you a while back why do the votes on you bother you so much? There was no serious case and it is not like we were forcing you to claim or just lynching you without reason. It was just a bit of banter to start some chat.

yomiel, i think what people are saying is that we are not listening to your case because around here, its not a case. Its fine to join a site and bring some some new inspiration, but do not come to a site with your own ideas and strategies and tell us that just because we dont do things the same way you do, that it is the wrong way. think about it... there are about 30 of us. 1 of you. maybe you should try to ease into a new community. i understand the urge to jump right in, but before you can, you need to test the water and spot the whirlpools and rip-currents.

I appreciate your activity and effort, but i just think you need to tone down your attempt to lead town until you understand how town thinks around here. we never rely purely on gut feelings and instinct.

While we may not have the best strategies, you cannot tell us that you have a better one until you stick around a while and earn our respect and trust. that will take a game or two

He was answering DiM though. I have got confused. I am off to bed.

I understand anyone might be but I was asking what his suspicion was.

Jesters aren't usual in a game like this. considering the theme though a suicide bomber type role similar to a jester role could be possible.

I'm again everyone voting me while lecturing me because of what I went through there. I was in three games, and they had me out on the first day in all of them. And not because of the actual game.

I do believe there is merit to my case against Squirrel, as his behavior is definitely suspicious.

ok so after a wild search to find out what jester role is i finally think i understand what jgordon1111 was trying to say.
i think jgordon1111 is suspecting Yomiel of being the Jester because Yomiel keeps acting suspicious, almost like he wants to be lynched.

PS: anyway, i seriously want to FOS happyfeet again for not posting even once. i was told that laying low is usually a scum tell.

The problem here is the same or similar case could be made about a lot of people in the joke vote phase. you're basing your case off of his behavior which you are basing off of one post. there is no substance there. I could make similar cases off of any one of the people in the joke phase for various or similar reasons and none of them would hold water.

please take some time. there are players who are simply trying to logically explain why you're actions have been flawed to you and it is getting frustrating because you are mostly ignoring them or turning it around to say they are accusing you.

right you based it on two posts one where he was basically saying what everyone was thinking. could squirrel be evil maybe. he could also ne town. there just not enough there to make a case out of.

DiM is pretty new himself (This being his second game) and he hasn't really been rude. Saying that you'd have to vote us all then, and GOOD LUCK WITH THAT is all I'm saying. Also, watching that episode tomorrow. Hosting RT tonight so can't watch it now.

first game chap will most likely not MOD kill you. but that is the usual consequence of post editing.

If you make a mistake and need to correct make a second post and start with EWOP,that will alert everyone before they go crazy that you saw what you did and are making the correction.

P.S. it is always best if you claim mafia to follow it with an EWOP,that way you wont get MOD killed for that either. If you have a mafia role its best to claim early ;) it saves time.

Man, I log off for a day and I get a wall of text to read through.

Well, happyfeet showed up, unvote.

I'm a bit worried this discussion over Yomiel is sidetracking us from the game. I haven't seen Mr. Squirrel post recently, so I suppose there is a point.

However, Mr. S just recently got back, so ionno if he's able to post regularly.
