ronaldo already hit it 4 times. could this be some sort of negative record?

Finally made one past the post.

I like how he claimed the goal as if it was all him and not given to him on a platter by an amazing run and cross.

But yeh love Portugal for their skill; even Christy boy is amazing to watch, but god damn i wish theyd drink some fucking concrete.

What was the Czech Rep waiting for? Seriously, at minute 58 it was CLEAR they needed a change and the coach did nothing, after the goal, they kept defending like they were winning! It took 6 minutes to the coach to send a substitution, when there was like 8 minutes left. Disappointing.

It's not like Portugal is a super team, they look pretty against a team that allows them to attack.

omg. the greeks are playing the worst football ever.

in fact they aren't even trying to play football. every time they get the ball they kick it far away.

Gekas in for the pathetic Ninis, and Fotakis in for Tzavellas. This should be a much better second half.

New strategy: give the ball to all the PAOK players. They do everything :D

Couldn't agree more. I've been giving them the benefit of every doubt since the pool phase. I think they'll stand a decent chance in the final against Spain, which will be an awesome match to watch.

Funny, my bet before the tournament was a final Spain-Netherlands, i was hoping you guys would give Spain a great fight. I would have liked to see Netherlands continue, not sure what went wrong finally.

Looks like I was not the only one who completely missjudged Netherlands this year. I had them as winner too.
I was not impressed by Germany yersterday! They missed a ton of scoring chances. Greece was a joke though. I hoped they would give Germany a hard fought game a t least but they didn't.
As much as I'm not impressed by Germany I still think they'll win it! England, Italy, France and Spain are all under performing. Portugal didn't look good either.

i never thought i could fall asleep at a european quarter final game between france and spain.
this is probably the most boring game so far.
so many great players on the field and such a crappy show.
i truly hope portugal pulverises spain, and germany does the same to whoever they'll face so we can have a proper show in the final.

PS: is it me or this edition of the euro is one of the most disappointing ever? except for germany and portugal nobody showed class and skill.

It seems the only strong teams are Spain and Germany,

England is the only other possibility.

Kind of a disappointment really.

I, for one, welcome the new-found parity in international football, which is a stark contrast to the growing gaps and concentration of talent in European club football. It's not like it's horrible football being played, just more evenly matched football.
