What's your position on the gay abolition of Taliban-conceived marriages involving the adoption of three or more gay children?

nowhere in the constitution does it say that gay people CAN'T do that... so basically i'm all for it.

OH! OH! But what about Amendment X, which states:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

What now, john? What now?

(to be fair, I think there's something in the constitution about marriage and how the federal government is involved with it, but I dunno lol).

it depends on how gay the state is.

a strongly heterosexual state like colorado has no right to abolish taliban marriages.

new hampshire, on the other hand...

yeah, but the reason i said new hampshire is because vermont is on top and new hampshire is the bottom. therefore NH is gayer because it's vermont's bitch

To be serious, in Phatscotty's defense, which so far has been embarrassing to me, the issue of gay marriage and gay adoption should be delegated to the States--according to the Constitution. If anyone would like to argue against my Appeal to the Constitution argument (lightly explained here), then they're free to use the constitution against me, or maybe even use the Declaration of Independence.

If not, they can present some other argument based on whatever grounds.

ITT, I'll strive to be Constitutionalist.

Which is also why I have mentioned that the best thing that could happen for gay marriage would be the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act that was signed in under Clinton; and in turn force the federal government to recognize marriage if the applicable state recognizes said marriage as such.

I can agree with that.

Why would anyone be bigoted against the people giving away the child and the child? Do they have ideas that the adopting parents are bigoted against?

Do you actually not understand the sentence that you wrote?

I think cheeseburgers are responsible for the ills of this time, and if we do nothing to cut short this crisis, we will experience a catastrophe far worse than the severest predictions by radical environmentalists. That's all I'm implying.
