Romneymentz

Tis the election season in the US. So it's time to exercise that American pastime, mocking and making fun of the incumbent. This thread is dedicated to calling out Obama Romney on his BS, gaffs, ineptitude and his gigantic normal ears.

No matter what side of the isle one may fall on the false dichotomy of the left/right paradigm, I think we can all agree that it's quite appropriate to make fun of our Dear Leaders, whomever they may be.

No doubt, the Obamaphiles Romneyphiles will sputter and be indignant but that's half the fun.
Political satire is a staple of freedom of expression. So, without violating the obscenity rules of the site, without further ado, Obamamentz Romneymentz!

Had to fix that one little thing there in your post.

This one is funny. I can't imagine there's nearly the material for this thread, though.

Somebody who dislikes a candidate for dodging the draft 45 years ago is stupid. The Candidate will be giving orders to the military and they will follow those orders.

I think that if someone wants to be the Commander In Chief, the idea of whether they dodged the draft or not is quite relevant.

I would agree that some leniency could be made for a great length of time passing (as attitudes change), but I think it's still relevant to be part of the discussion.

Was it relevant in Bill Clinton's case?
Was it relevant in Dick Cheney's case?

Just wondering is all. They were a couple of draft dodgers, legal draft dodging admittedly, but draft dodgers all the same. If they can be President or Vice, then why not Romney?

Just asking is all, let the Romney bashing continue unabated.

I get confused sometimes, since it's so hard to tell the candidates apart, which thread is this one dedicated to abusing?
This guy maybe?-

Absolutely, for me it was, in both cases. Though not nearly as strongly as using illegal means for doing so. I'm curious as to why you think I would be inconsistent in that view?

Where was I bashing Romney in any way? Are you going Phatscotty on us?

Honestly, you are coming across as exceptionally hypocritical and humorless both in this thread and the Obama one.

I nominate patches70 as the new policeman for this forum. He'll restore order here, regardless how many posters he needs to ban!

I second this nomination, and also nominate patchy for the excellence-in-dishing-out-that-which-he-cannot-take award.

Slightly off-topic: I am curious what patchy thinks I might be butt-hurt over. Is he confusing me with someone else, or did he recently school me on something without me noticing?

Did you see that club above your post? These clubs have other uses besides caving in skulls.

The big question is this.....where did he/she come up with the name patches???? It has sexual undertones. :-^

Do I get a badge?

In the spirit of the thread and it's OP, here are some more Romney pics that are funny and point to a political aspect of the man who wishes to become leader of the free world-

Hint: He's a clown
Image

Hint: He's a serial flip flopper
Image

Hint: Romney, like his dad, isn't a true conservative
Image

Hint: Has little in common with the average citizen
Image

Hint: Someone think Obama is kicking Romney's ass
Image

All valid points.

So what's da problem?

Hint:

If you have to explain each picture....don't bother posting it. Sort of like explaining the punch line in a joke you just told everyone-FAIL.
