Also for the record, they make amazing chicken and it tastes great.
Is this one of those "Mussolini made the trains run on time" kind of apologetics? Cause surely nice tasting fast food doesn't excuse donating to organisations that are partly responsible for executions of homosexuals in Uganda, if Juan's sources are correct.
This is one of those "The chicken is awesome, I don't care what CEOs say, everything I have experienced from the company is positive, and I love food a lot" kind of apologetics.
And about Uganda:
EDIT: I mean, you can't take Juan sources from what he says. He can't even spell the company name right. So, he obviously doesn't graze his material very meticulously. If you're going to argue against something, like Chick-Fil-A, then come across competent, informed, and have something ready for what people are going to respond back to you. Otherwise, why bother?
I'm guessing that you're not gay though, and thus haven't experienced the nastier side of their operation. Do you have at least a little sympathy for the folks persecuted?
I can forgive him the typo.
I'm guessing you're not in Uganda. And what nastier side of the operation? You mean all the chickens they kill? There is no nastier side of their operation. They are a fast food restaurant.
My sexual orientation plays no part in this for me. If the CEO of any food place that I love to eat at said something against a group that I associate myself with, you know what I would do? Still eat there. Because I love food. I love chicken sandwiches and pizza and french dips and Cap'n Crunch.
Can you forgive the triple post to start the thread?
