Phatism should remain Phatism even if PhatScotty is reincarnated as PhoenixScotty because Phatism must serve as a punishment but also as a good reminder for allowing himself to slip into the clutches of this disease.

Although this affliction is not entirely due to his own decisions, he is still partly responsible for allowing himself to remain in a state which is conducive to Phatism.
