Or did you mean to say that someone who was not God said that God told him that?

The Bible is God's Word, written down by men who were directly inspired by God as to what to include.

You're equating homosexuals wanting to follow their body's natural inclination to have sex to an addiction?
Did God create homosexuals with the desire to follow their body's natural instincts or not?
You're assuming those natural instincts are not also sinful.

Does He? Or did you mean to say that someone who was not God said that God told him that?
Furthermore, was Jesus' relationship with his disciples not holy?
Jesus did not have sexual relations with his disciples.

Don't remeber who said this, but one of the best quotes I've heard about this is that humans are "created sick and commanded to be sound".

This sounded familiar to me too. I don't know where you heard it from, but I wonder if I first heard it in an Elizabethan literature class as younger lad. Google Search came up with an excerpt from Fulke Greville's Mustapha: http://www.luminarium.org/renlit/mustapha.htm

And how do those that were not directly inspired tell the difference between those who were genuinely inspired by God and those (maybe agents of Satan) who are lying in order to try and influence things for evil ends?

Do you not believe that God would choose people who HE KNEW would be obedient and write down what God wanted written down????? Seeing He is all knowing and knew what they would write down even before they were born????
Thus, the "how do you know they didn't make mistakes" is a fail.
