@pcm yeah you delved into maths again but this is by far the most suitable maths discussion for the thread thus far I think. I'm still wating to hear more from vodean though. his latest post sounds like he's scum who has given up quite frankly.

if i were scum, then a) i would be more into it because i love playing scum, and b)i would not give up because town is stagnating and has no leads.

Im a VT. i can try to add more details but i cant quote my role PM, and with such a short one (i assume that scum also has short role PMs so this neither confirms nor denies that i am town), i would worry that adding more info would just get me modkilled.

I am here. I agree with your assessment of the game. It seems we are more focused on the setup of the game based on the number of VT. I suck at math and frankly find it annoying. The problem we have is that weather it is T3-T5 or what not, if someone pressured who really is mafia they will claim VT.

SO... I am going to claim.

I am a VT.

If you decide to lynch me no loss as I am VT and it will give you a better idea of where the game format stands.

I disagree with this entirely when T=5 and 7 there are Mafia Goon, Mafia 1-Shot Bus Driver, Serial Killer as scum roles. Mafia Goon & Serial Killer are dead, so we are left with the Mafia 1-Shot Bus Driver. Also, the reason there is 1 kill a night is that there is only scum left, the SK is dead. I am assuming we don't have a vig.

you are right, basically if t=5 or 7, we would have only 1 enemy, didn't recheck these configs, even better then. not sure we are 3 vts for sure (i can only be sure of myself..)

who is ok with a mass claim? if we see many vts, we will be able to determine what T is equal to and if it's high enough would mean we have just 1 enemy. we got this. can the remaining 4 claim please?

nope. we will have 6 real claims and 2 fake claims. if any scum claims power role, they will have to prove it and if they fail we will kill them. we will be able to assume that the 2 fakeclaims will most possibly be vts, otherwise mafia will be putting itself in a bad position. also, let's keep in mind that we are most lokely facing only 1 enemy now. if we are 3 real vts left or more, then there is only one enemy.

of course, i guess this mass claim will not be in mafia's interest and i suspect one or two of you in particular to protest.

6 non randomized including 3 enemies, 3vts (ve have 3 dead VTs that will be all counted in here)
7 randomized. we have 5 new VT claims for now, of which only 1 could be not telling the truth as there is only one scum left. T= at least 4 and has to be rounded up to the next odd number as they are the only ones with a serial killer role. so T=5 or T=7, which all works out.

option B
6 non randomized including 4 enemies, 2vts (ve have 3 dead VTs so last one is going to the randomized)
7 randomized. that would make us 6 vts (including the dead one), including 1 or 2 mafia that have already fakeclaimed among the 5vt claims at the most. T would be T=4 minimum, so would have to be rounded up to 5, and would not be possible since the only 2 options would be t=5 or t=7 even with 2 mafia fakeclaims till now.

conclusion: unless we have some power roles that fake claimed VT, which would be stupid, we are certain now that we are facing 1 and only enemy. I'd like to hear the claim of the remaining 3 guys; please tell me we have a cop and a doc!!
