Maybe if you were in my position you would think that. How come no one that was mafia before me fessed up? They were afraid to die. Believe me, I took a calculated risk admitting to being mafia. I want to win this game, and i don't think i'm going to win it by surviving as mafia. Mainly because revolving mafia is a role of survival. Each person takes a day or two on mafia, natural mafia instinct tells them to try and survive and win as mafia. In the mean time two townies and maybe a few more during the night phase are killed. All of a sudden that person is not mafia anymore. Now back as a townie they are 4 or more players short of when they were townie before and still have no idea who mafia is... I was looking to break that cycle and take this game in a new direction, a direction that could possibly lead most of us to victory.

I am 100% sure that if I survive today and tonight, I will be a townie onece more. I will admit what I am. Aimless, and Mandy, im thinking, will be mafia tomorrow, and I think that trestain may be another acomplice, with all the defending hes been doing of them

Actually, I'm having more fun playing this way and throwing out wacky theories than I have in a normal mafia game in quite some time. Probably ever.

This is shaping up to be a good game, I can't wait to see how all this worked.

As more info comes in I have to reexamine the data. At one point it made sense that maybe you were Mafia Godfather. Now it appears with even more data that you are not, that is why I changed my stance again about lynching you. If it was between them lynching you or me, of course I'm going to want you lynched. But I rather have Mandy Lynched to be honest.

autoload, exactly this once, operating under the assumption that you mean it when you say that there's something strange (other than the role swapping going on), I will believe something to say. As of your last role PM, how many mafia are there?

trestain, or for dummies - since you were mafia on day 2, how many mafia were there?

Anyone who was scum with panicker on day 1 - how many mafia were there?

I want to here the answers in exactly that order, so that no one can cheat by looking at what the people who were mafia before them said.

I have a suspicion as to what is going on, but before I mention it I want to see those answers.

Pshhh no way. No real information is revealed in those. Its a standard rule.
Why are people voting JND? Because they think he is the Godfather based on Mandy's BS investigation? I feel like we are being tricked somehow. Also the win condition for a townie alludes to taking out the mafia (real and/or fake) and the cult [since both (or all three) of these would be included in the phrase "all threats"]

jnd shut up scum, first off i am not defendind aimless or mandy, read my last few posts i have actually been attacking mandy, i was the one who pulled him on his bogus role change today.

Whatever is going on here, 1 point i made today still stands. MAFIA IS MAFIA, whever they are revolving or not we still need to wipe them out.

Well...

Bah. I'll bite. Even though the information was poisoned, I'll choose to believe auto's response. Here is my theory :

There is a Cult Recruiter. I know this, as I was the recruiter on day 2 and day 3. On night 2, my attempt to recruit XenHu failed, on account of him being dead. On night three, I attempted to recruit mandalorian (I think... I don't still have the PM I sent AK, and my memory is a little fuzzy on this one). mandalorian survived and was not scum at the time, so I can only assume my recruit attempt was successful.

However, when I receive the role on Day 2, there were no other members of the cult. This strikes me as fishy.

So, here's my big theory - I don't think the cult recruiter is recruiting for the cult. I think the cult recruiter is recruiting for the mafia, but doesn't know it. And to prevent this from becoming common knowledge, every time the recruiter recruits successfully, the roles get flipped (including the recruiter, if this is true).

If my suspicion is correct, there will only have been three scum on Day 1; we've killed two scum so far, but there have been two successful recruits, so the number of scum has stayed constant (well, with Narc dead it's down to two now, assuming auto is telling the truth - I'm only half inclined to believe him, but that's far more than I normally would have been).

Well, why not, I will tell the truth. :mrgreen:

I LIED about the role change. The reason was: I was tryng to win the game. Since I figured that I am probably the one of the few players who hasn't been scum yet, I concluded that I will be scumm tommorow and you guys will figure it out. If, however I claim that I just became a cop, I can "keep" the role tommorow. (BTW, I wasted yesterday by first investigating a dead guy (Fircoal) and then sending the Narc investigation wich AK hadn't had time to respond to (or he didn't want to, because it would prove that I am Bizzaro (Insane) Cop).
But now, I had an Epiphany! I have to lose to win. So, tommorow I will be Scumm. Take that!
