Isn't this the same thinking that makes extremists blame Americans for making that weird film?

That's a good point, PS; however, the Mubarak regime for decades has cracked down on violent and peaceful protestors, who can now engage in more nefarious acts since they face significantly reduced costs from government enforcement. In other words, after the ousting of Mubarak, the price on insurgency has decreased, and the demand for insurgency has been stimulated for decades from previous acts of Mubarak's government.


So, although Egypt may have seemed "better" under Mubarak, the causes of much anti-American sentiment stem from the decades of US "aid" to Egypt's dictatorship and US foreign policy abroad--specifically, aiding Israel and killing hundreds of thousands of Muslim civilians directly through wars and indirectly from the consequences following the destabilization of countries.

I am not a religious extremist, so I would have to say no.

So anyway- you're blaming Egyptians for the actions of a small minority, but saying that it's unfair for some members of that minority to blame Americans?

Great job painting an entire nation with the same brush. It seems to me that you are saying that America is entirely populated with christian extremists that love to incite Muslims to violence by denigrating their religion.

You should realize (I know why you are unable to ) that it isthe protesters, who are setting fires, burning flags, and MURDERING people, that have painted the entire nation of America with a broad brush....but of course you would look past what is really going on on a global level, and try to pin the broad brush on me, who is simply making an observation... I'm not murdering anybody, I'm not burning anyone's flag or starting buildings on fire.....get a clue

The guy who made the video is an Egyptian....so there is no excuse for using the video as an excuse for violence against America
