I just don't get this. I've been to England, and have had English food, and I don't find it bland at all.
I've been all over the U.K. except Ireland and I wasn't impressed with the food. I thought it was pretty bland. It could just be that I'm used to lots of seasonings and spice and veggies, but there you go. I'm pretty sure every U.K. resident eats beans and eggs for breakfast. The only memorable things I had was haggis and some Irn Bru. Food wasn't bad just kinda blah.
