USA could never have 0 hits. A lot of people play that map. Same goes for Middle Earth. Either that or I am missing something...

the score is the number of pages of active games being played. so a score of 5 is 500-599 active games, a score of 59 is 3,900-3,999 active games, a score of 1 is 1-199 active games.

he meant that usa etc. doesn't have a number...

oh... i thought it was obvious that everything under 3 had a score of 3 until you got to 2. maybe not.

i don't understand that...

game finder

I've thought of a more effective way to look at how popular maps are look at the first 100 maps on the join game list the more there are the least popular the map is as people don't like it

Ok thanks guys I get it now.

But that's British Isles not Brittish. Fix that because for some strange reason I am finding that typo very irritating. Maybe I am developing an OCD or something. Hehe.

Btw World 2.0 has an advantage over the rest because games take a long time to finish on that one since it's huge...

Why does it take so long for new maps to be approved? I've been a member for almost 3 months and in that time we haven't had one new geographical map. (I can't stand daft maps like Chinese Checkers and US Senate)

Well right now lack is on vacation (until the 8th). Great Lakes will be hopefully coming out soon. Right now I think map creators are mostly bored with geographical maps. :(

there are a ton of geo maps in the foundry, but they dont hold a lot of interest, most of the time its 'just another country'.

Well i think that military maps will be more interesting then geography map of some country, but unfortunaly map authors dont create these map, maybe because you must to search for more info before work. These map will be in top.

yes I agree. geo maps like eastern front, iwo jima, and finish winter war are much more interesting to be then some divided map of a random country.

Im not from Iceland or Singapore so I cant get down with those maps, but if its a battle, i can put my self in the mind of a general or something. I cant really put myself in the mind of a resident of singapore. but really every country has had its share of wars and history, so maybe a map around the village of Bang Rajan would be better than one of just Siam.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bang_Rajan

just a though.

its very intersting to see how much these maps are played on. Espically the new maps....

Apart from classic and world 2.1 the ese next maps are graphically not very good but have held on very well to there rankings....

- Middle Earth
- British Isles
- Europe

Curious

Postby Keredrex on Fri May 04, 2007 2:02 pm

Does the ranking System of top maps in the club have anything to do with the future of those maps.... Will they be pulled from the Club????

If so then maybe there should be a poll!! I would hate to see maps go because there not the Public favorite..... maybe some can go, but I like Circus Maximus.... among many others
