One of Saxi's cousins.

We all call him frenchie but his name is Emile I guess.

We're allways talking about doing electrical work back in the ninties, accedentally packing your wife's underwear, traveling in Morroco, custom motorcycles, eating buckets of mussels at http://www.masdujuge.com/ and stuff. I found this article about him online today.

Not really totally on topic, but I saw this the other day and it reminded me of saxi, so I guess a thread about saxi is as good a place as any to shoehorn it in:

I think Mr Leray is more like MacGyver than Tony Stark.

I'd say he's just decent at making things work and figured out how to get home. However, you're right MacCyver would be a better analogy. I guess MacGyver's fallen out of the pop-culture radar.

20 miles? He could've walked that in 3 days easily.

I know, right? You only need water every 5 days or so.

At least the Schrute buck is a physical thing outside of cyberspace and I could write shopping lists or wipe my ass with it.

It doesn't say how much water he had but it says that by day 12 he still had half a liter.

Let's say he had 3 liters to begin with. Plenty of water. Desert is cold in the night and early morning, I can run 10km and drink 1 liter, and I'm not in survival mode. Say he walked two hours in early morning and two hours in the evening, that's around 12 miles, he would make it in 2 days.

Yeah, but isn't making something cooler than a Citroen worth it?
