Supermax also has a tert named Andy, but I think that's the Dufresne from Shawshank. Same full name, though. =)

There are a few others, I think. Wache Dim and Wache Qwert on Das Schloss. Wicked the Witch on Halloween Hollows?

On that note can I pose one ? Looking to run a witches tournament, so which maps feature witches. Halloween 1 got two more besides, but there may be more so, name maps with witches ?

I voted medium, probably the best alternative for the largest number of players

On the Atlantis map, the territories Samuelon, Melchetium, and Enderius ::cough:: are shout-outs to CC users, but not exactly their names.

Lol, I saw this coming miles away.

Yea. The small map voters get a chance to vote for their next best option. And logically, if smaller is better for them then most of them will vote medium.

I believe NemesisChild formerly had a picture of General Melchett from Blackadder Goes Forth as his avatar, so it's a rather indirect reference, sorry.

All good though. The community has spoken. A map of up to 66 regions is still large enough to get some good games on.

I thought the first two easy to spot, but that third one, I never would of guessed.

Yes, since the vote was so close, I think it would be best to aim for a compromise size.

Surely, we can squeeze 20 more large votes out of people. Now that the banner has gone down, it will be far easier to keep the lead.

This will all depend on the final map and who/how it is made.

Week two is now over with. Poll results where neck and neck up until the very last day. But with 323 votes, the medium size map has won out. The final map must be between 35 to 65 regions. Our next poll is between Classic and Conquest game play. If you are not sure, think of it like Classic map versus Feudal War. ;)

Our competition has changed in the second post to the new one. Last weeks winner was Armandolas, well done. Medal has been awarded. Well done to the others who got the correct answers.
  • iAmCaffeine
  • merch313
  • betiko
  • dakky21
  • mint-murray
  • Swifte
This weeks competition, you can all win one. ;)

A couple of things coming up over the next few days/weeks, so be on the look out for:

and

If you are in a clan, make sure you read the clan week article in this weeks dispatch.

The answers to last weeks competition where:
  • Ziggurat
  • Austrum of the Vertex/Austrum set
  • Lisbon Metro
  • Tribal War - Ancient Israel

The one that had most people stuck was number two. The clues where in the post though:
Set of on your travels, exploring the furthest regions. Explore unknown lands with famous explorers. But watch out for monsters swim in the waters.

Explorers for Exploratorum (Latin name for explorers), monsters in the water now becomes obvious and explore unknown lands for the famous explorers used for the ship regions.

Keep on voting, keep on playing. Lets make the next Classic map.
