Here is another 5 territory continent. This little town on a hill has a small farming population but it mostly consists of travelers, just passing by. They engage in worship and train local conscripts and heroes at the barracks. They also maintain a bridge over the neighboring river.

Um, if Hector's dead, shouldn't Troy be on fire or in ruins?

Amazing work, mibi... can't wait to see the whole thing.

I don't know. In the book, Troy hadn't been under any real seige. Hector was killed in the fields outside of Troy before the Greeks ever got in. Also, King Priam had many sons, some of which were dead long before the battle. It could be any of them. Honestly though, I've never seen the movie so I don't know how it varies from the book.

Hector wasn't buried, he was burned on a funeral pyre. Maybe they buried him after that but I imagine there would be much left.

A very nice 5th continent, but I'd prefer to see a place in the NW area

I don't know whether that can be considered historical. It's debatable.

Leaving aside the fact that there is no book as such, the literary tradition does hold that the Greeks were camped outside for ten years, which would make it a pretty serious siege.

Troy lay between the Skamandros and the Simoeis. Sure, they weren't quite so close as the map makes out but they were fairly close and he has said the map isn't to scale for gameplay purposes.

If he's messed around with the geography then it could be but I think Tenedos fits better. It's closer to the shore than Lemnos and has more relevance to the siege of Troy.

Not sure if he's got room to squeeze in the bay next to Troy if this is there, but it might just fit. The geography is off for Rome plus I can't think what the theme would be with the map at that angle, and the sea would be on the right if it was Carthage.

Nice to see another big map on the way though, wherever it turns out to be.

Here is 6 territory continent. Even though the plains of the river are fertile, people prefer a less sediment lifestyle due to the number of battles that occur in the area. Livestock and herding suits them better. They also maintain three bridges across two rivers.

Atlantis was also considered to be in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, and very big. Atlantis also wouldn't of had many battles, as the Atlantians had a great fleet, which was only defeated by the Athenians.

Could it be on the island of Sicily?

lol, people theorize that Atlantis was in the Atlantic most often perhaps, but there are theories that it was in the Pacific, the mediterranean and that its even the current continent of Anarctica!
