Hmm interesting theory there pancake,
reconsidering Selin's words:Selin wrote:as mafia also like poets
i can use my power role
you may lynch me the first day
that only harm the town sole
"Mafia also likes poets" might fit into your idea.
Ok, so he claimed Alan-A-Dale and we are pretty sure his role changes on Day 3. But, if he's such a help to the town, how come he's survived Day 1? If I were mafia, I would've taken him out right away.

hmm, looks like one more skimming one
typical scum behaviour
one more FOS on my list coming
but he's not yet to favour
FOS: XenHu

XenHu wrote:pancakemix wrote:Maybe the mafia figured out that he would change after Day 3 too.
Most likely. The question is: Would it be worth it?
Would whatever help Selin gives us be compensated by what he could give the maifa?

got tonkaed wrote:I think the better suggested reasons for selin not being killed is that he is apparenty bullet (arrow) proof and he might convert to mafia later on in the game so why reduce your numbers?
At leats thats what id think would be the arguments as a mafia to keep him alive. That and selin hasnt actually said much to make the mafia worried.

I thought there was one other person who might win, who isn't ropbin. Not sure though, but you may want to check that there is no other way that the mafia use it to their advantage.
Just going off memory here, but wasn't wicked, the mafia, shot with a crossbow?
Incandenza wrote:As has been said, but worth repeating: there's no way a halfway competent mafia would nightkill selin.
If I understand things, then the prevailing theory is that the mafia would conceptually have received an infusion of talent after the archery contest (selin and mandy), and were it not for mandy, we wouldn't even be aware of this possibility. The question is, are there more people that might possibly switch from town to mafia?
The obvious thing to me is that whoever wins the archery contest has to be lynched immediately, as that person is likely to be robin.
We should keep selin around for another day at least. I also think that if selin has powers, he might want to reveal them now. I'm not demanding this, just putting it out on the table. If he has some skills that we can use to ferret out bad guys, then there's no reason to lynch him yet.
I'm glad to see that IGS posted, and t'was a sensible post, so

Aegnor wrote:Yes, I suppose the hood would probably have the best archery skills, but then again, we don't know yet how the archery contest is going to work, we will have to wait for the Day 3 with that speculation.
XenHu wrote:Good question and good point. But now I wonder if when Selin becomes mafia, will he keep his power? I know it sounds like a dumb question but here's why I'm asking. The way he goes about saying it, it sounds like Selin's power can be of good use to the town. My original point and question was that if this power is so helpful, why would the mafia let us have it? It just doesn't sit with me. That's all.
