Im not a map expert but i am in the RORF.

Things to address:
colour scheme...get rid of the thermal map crap, it makes the map look messy.
Territory names (you knew this already)
gameplay, you should add some sea links maybe some islands even!

i think i missed something but i cant remember

I like this map. I'd play it. There should be more bonuses for owning continents. I don't like the cursive font, hard to read. keep working on it
