Re: Neighborhood Mafia (7/7) Day 1: Not So Crime Free

Postby colton24 on Wed Oct 23, 2013 5:36 pm

"Hi, welcome to Sunny Suburbs! As you know, we are the most crime-free place to live in the country, thanks to our great security systems! Not even a vandal could get away with spray-painting a wall with a speck of paint. Here's your house key, have a nice day!"

Later...

"Dispatch to units in the vicinity of Sunny Suburbs. 911 call reporting shots fired at House #209. Units to handle, Code 3, identify"

"Unit 12 responding."

"Unit 45 responding."

A few minutes later, both cars arrived at House #209. They would enter guns drawn, clearing out each room as they progressed throughout the house. As they entered the master bedroom, they spotted a body with a bullet hole in the forehead. A Crime Scene Unit was called in and a Detective team assigned to the case, but it was clear that the lack of evidence was plaguing the investigation mere minutes in. After a few hours and interviews, the SSPD packed up and headed back to their normal assignments, the case a stumper...

However, the citizens of Sunny Suburbs decided that they would find out who was responsible for the murder. And they would deliver justice by their own hands, or die trying.

Yes but we have more class then Vikings. You drink from a horn, rape women and burn villages and that's all from a drinking binge...not that I am stereotyping or generalizing.

Are you trying to compare me to a Viking? What do I have to do with Vikings?

I don't think well get a lynch today. I think after the nights events we will have a better understanding of what's going on.

What would you suggest?

We have 5 different scenarios. We are at the mercy of random.org, which will determine the difficulty for each team.

first mafia game online, is it in our interest not to lynch someone? or are we just 1 man down and no further if we go into the night and not kill someone?

It could very well be best for a no lynch. However, we do need to wait a little bit before making that decision, as something important could come up during today.

Night info doesn't really help- all you know is maf got a kill. Unless we have a cop, which there is a very good chance we don't, we have no reason to want to have a lot of nights except for them narrowing down whoever the scum is.

There is only one situation where there are no night time duties. So odds are one of us can preform a night task. Just out of curiosity how many of you have played mafia before?

1 Cop, 1 Doc, 1 Goon, 1 Roleblocker, 3 VTs
1 Roleblocker, 1 Goon, 5 VTs
1 Cop, 2 Goons, 4VTs
1 Doc, 2 Goons, 4VTs
2 Goons, 5 VTs

Outside a massive scum tell its about probabilities of who to choose to lynch.

The players who have the best chance of knowing which format we have are those with power roles.
