This is a Tournament Players Association Year 4 [TPA4] event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments which are detailed here:
https://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewt ... 3#p4278332 All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You do not need to do anything more than join one or more of the TPA4 events that will be announced on Mondays. Check back on the scoreboard to see how you're doing:
THIS IS A TPA 4 MAJOR TOURNAMENT At the time of preparing this tournament there are 223 non-Beta maps. Therefore, excluding Classic there are 222 maps. 222 is a Double Nelson, so...... half of that is a Nelson, soā¦ā¦ why not play a Nelson of maps? show: historical significance
Nelson is a piece of cricket slang terminology and superstition. The name, applied to team or individual scores of 111 or multiples thereof (222 is therefore known as double nelson; 333 as triple nelson, etc.) is thought to refer to Lord Nelson's lost eye, arm and leg (Nelson actually had both of his legs intact, the third missing body part is mythical). Cricket historian and scorer, Bill "Bearders" Frindall once referred to it online as "one eye, one arm and one etcetera", implying that Nelson's alleged third lost body part was "something else", however this is equally mythical. It is thought by the superstitious that bad things happen on that score, although an investigation by the magazine The Cricketer in the 1990s found that wickets are no more likely to fall on Nelson and indeed, the score at which most wickets fall is 0 (a duck). It may be considered unlucky because the number resembles a wicket without bails i.e. a batsman is out when the bails are knocked off the wicket.

show: why that man is in the air
That man is David Shepherd, a cricket umpire who made popular the longstanding practice of raising a leg or legs from the ground on Nelson (one leg) or Double Nelson (two legs) or triple nelson (one leg three times) in an effort to avoid ill fate.

37 x 3 = 111, so you will play 37 rounds with 3 different players and maps per round. show: games and players
Ideally, we need a large number of players, to avoid playing the same person many times, so sign up and get the chance to play on half CC's non-beta maps apart from Classic! After playing a round-robin, the number of players will be reduced by an amount judged by me to be suitable and another round-robin set of games will proceed. This process will continue until all 111 maps have been played. The size of the reduction will take account of excluded players and some of the lowest scorers in order to try to complete the tournament after a finite number of round-robins. All games will be played with CC's "default settings" (Automatic, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, No Trench, Casual) together with a 20 round limit. All games will be singles (1 vs 1). Premium players only. Three games will be issued at a frequency of about every three days, so the game load will rise.

 	show: joining
The invites will be as private messages with an Auto-Join link. If you fail to take up the invites after 48 hours I will send a direct invite which constitutes as a warning. After three warnings you will be excluded. However, if you plan to be away, just let me know so I can schedule your games accordingly. Games against excluded players will still count towards totals.

 	show: winning
Players will get one point for every win and the winner will be the person with the highest score. In case of a tie, then the number of wins against excluded players will be subtracted from this total to determine the winner. If there is still a tie then the winner will be decided by the best of three on three different random maps with the same settings as above.

 	show: maps
When we have all players signed up, a random number will be used to decide which map we will start on. We will then proceed continuously until we have played on half the available maps (excluding Classic and Beta maps). At the time of writing this the 222 maps are as follows: 1	13 Colonies 2	1982 3	8 Thoughts 4	Africa 5	Africa II 6	Age Of Merchants 7	Age Of Realms 1: Might 8	Age Of Realms 2: Magic 9	Age Of Realms 3: Mayhem 10	Alexander's Empire 11	All Your Base Are Belong To Us 12	American Civil War 13	Ancient Greece 14	Antarctica 15	Archipelago 16	Arctic 17	Arms Race! 18	Atlantis 19	Austerlitz 20	Australia 21	Austro-Hungarian Empire 22	Balkan Peninsula 23	Baltic Crusades 24	Bamboo Jack 25	Baseball 26	Battle For Iraq! 27	Battle Of Actium 28	BeNeLux 29	Berlin 1961 30	Brazil 31	British Isles 32	Cairns Coral Coast 33	Cairns Metro 34	California 35	Canada 36	Caribbean Islands 37	Castle Lands 38	CCU 39	Celtic Nations 40	Central America 41	Charleston 42	Chicago 43	Chinese Checkers 44	Circus Maximus 45	City Mogul 46	Clandemonium 47	Classic Cities: Istanbul 48	Classic Cities: Jakarta 49	Classic Cities: London 50	Classic Cities: Madrid 51	Classic Cities: Moscow 52	Classic Cities: Pot Mosbi 53	Classic Cities: Sydney 54	Conquer 4 55	Conquer Man 56	Conquer Rome 57	Copenhagen 58	Cricket 59	Crossword 60	Cuban Missile Crisis 61	Cyprus 62	D-Day: Omaha Beach! 63	Dark Continent 64	Das Schloss 65	Dawn Of Ages 66	Discworld 67	Doodle Earth 68	Draknor - Level 1 69	Duck And Cover 70	Dust Bowl 71	Eastern Hemisphere 72	Egypt: Lower 73	Egypt: Nubia 74	Egypt: Upper 75	Egypt: Valley Of The Kings 76	England 77	Eurasia 78	Eurasia Mini 79	Europa 80	Europe 81	Europe 1914 82	Extreme Global Warming 83	Far East 84	Feudal Epic 85	Feudal War 86	First Nations Americas 87	First Nations North America 88	First Nations South America 89	Flanders 1302 90	Forbidden City 91	Fractured America 92	Fractured China 93	France 94	France 1789 95	Germany 96	Gilgamesh 97	Golfe Du Saint-Laurent 98	Great Lakes 99	Greater China 100	Greenland 101	Haiti 102	Halloween Hollows 103	High Seas 104	Hive 105	Holy Roman Empire 106	Hong Kong 107	Iberia 108	Iceland 109	Imperium Romanum 110	Indian Empire 111	Indochina 112	Ireland 113	Island Of Doom 114	Italy 115	Jamaica 116	Japan 117	King Of The Mountains 118	King's Court 119	King's Court II 120	Kingdom Of Denmark 121	Knights 122	Land And Sea 123	Lunar War 124	Luxembourg 125	Macedonia 126	Madagascar 127	Madness 128	MagyarorszƔg 129	Malta 130	MƩxico 131	Middle Ages 132	Middle East 133	Midgard 134	Midkemdil 135	Mongol Empire 136	Monsters 137	Montreal 138	Napoleonic Europe 139	Netherlands 140	New Jersey 141	New World 142	New Zealand 143	Nordic Countries 144	North America 145	Northwest Passage 146	NYC 147	Oasis 148	Oceania 149	Operation Drug War 150	Orient Express 1883 151	Patch Wars 152	Pearl Harbor 153	Peloponnesian War 154	Philadelphia 155	Philippines 156	Poison Rome 157	Poker Club 158	Portland 159	Portugal 160	Prohibition Chicago 161	Puget Sound 162	Quad Cities 163	Rail Africa 164	Rail Asia 165	Rail Australia 166	Rail Europe 167	Rail USA 168	Rorke's Drift 169	Route 66 170	Salem's Switch 171	San Francisco 172	San Marino 173	Scotland 174	Siege! 175	Solar System 176	South Africa 1885 177	South America 178	Soviet Union 179	Space 180	Stalingrad 181	Steamworks 182	Supermax: Prison Riot! 183	Sydney Metro 184	Tamriel 185	Texan Wars 186	Thailand 187	The Citadel 188	Third Crusade 189	Three Kingdoms Of Korea 190	Thyseneal 191	Trafalgar 192	Transsib 1914 193	Treasures Of Galapagos 194	Trench Warfare 195	Tribal War - Florida 196	Triple Alliance 197	U.S. Senate 198	Unification Germany 199	Unification Italy 200	USA 201	USA Great Lakes 202	USA New England 203	USA Rockies 204	USA Southeast 205	USA Southwest 206	USA West 207	USApocalypse 208	Vancouver 209	Wales 210	Waterloo 211	Woodboro 212	World 2.1 213	WWI Ottoman Empire 214	WWII Ardennes 215	WWII Australia 216	WWII Eastern Front 217	WWII Europe 218	WWII Gazala 219	WWII Iwo Jima 220	WWII Poland 221	WWII Western Front 222	Yugoslavia
