Qwert we are hoping you will endorse our amateur hour monochrome screen rape, our forgetting pw function, our breaking clickies, and our continued arse fucking of map rank.

Hate to keep reminding you bogan, but clickies and Maprank are NOT part of Conquer Club :) that is like blaming the car manufacturer for you phone malfunctioning after plugging it into the cars cigarette lighter to charge it

TeeGee, sad to see you being deliberately dense, and reciting the party line like a good little decipticon. Am fucking well aware that two of the most useful things on the site are not working, nor were they developed or offered by site. So the site didn't have the decency, customer service or smarts to offer them. Then they take something that was working for a lot of people, f*ck it so hard it breaks. Spit in the face of their rape victim and deny all responsibility

Your example is flawed and fucked up. I buy a charger to charge phone in car. Charger works very well, improves my driving experience no end. Car manufacturer rolls out system up date for car electronics(which were working fine). System update causes charger to no longer charge phone. The system upgrade caused my phone charger to not work. Car manufacturer is responsible for system upgrade, so is responsible for consequences of system upgrade(including failure of phone charger to work).

My point which have made multiple times and no one is prepared to pull their heads out of their arse, drop the "management" central message lie and acknowledge is - Add ons were working. Add ons no longer working. No longer working as direct consequence of meddling with something that wasn't broken. Implementing something that was not ready for implementation.

I applaud the fervour of the new owner, and the current "admin/tech" team, in trying new things. Strongly feel that maybe some testing before implementing would be great. Consideration for existing users and repeat customers would be great amongst the rush to implement gimmicky shit to attract people who then won't stay around because of bugs and lack of stability. I'm no where near the biggest spender on here. In my time on site buying premium for myself and others I've spent $300. I in no way feel that my concerns as a paying customer are being addressed. It is a fucking simple concept. If you break it, fix it. Dodging responsibility and hiding behind weasel words and "plausible" double speak is just the dishonest chatter of empty soulless, insincere, and incompetent frauds.

Having a little side bet, as to how long it takes before debate is stifled by unnecessary and out of hand locking of threads and banning of paying customers for daring to question and point out the very obvious epic fails. It is not as if the dissenters amongst us(myself included) are not acknowledging the good that is being attempted.

Less repression, more consulting and testing. Try listening to the community. If something is going to be rolled out, get it right, and do it properly. Folks have been suggesting and asking for different "skins" for CC. Not something that I cared for, but hey a lot of people wanted it. What do we get? What has been most politely described as screen vomit.

See whether can directly address my main point TeeGee, maybe prove that you are the only person with a coloured name tag capable of speaking straight.

If there is anyway that I can help. Happy to. Before you ask, stopping pointing out deficiencies in planning and implementation is not going to happen.

or do something constructive and JOIN THE TEST TEAM and voice your concerns before they are implemented, or approach the current companies directors about buying some shares and really get involved in the site management?

Would you like to join the beta testers group? We'd be happy to have more people that test out how site changes interact with community add-ons.

Sure sign me up. As long as I don't have to drink the kool aid, and start sounding like a retarded auto bot. Parroting stock phrases of weasel words, half truths, and slimy evasive phrases.

No, but you would have to treat your fellow team members with a modicum of respect, who, believe it or not, are also trying to improve the site :-)

Sounds like your trying to convince yourself. People get the respect they deserve, respect is earned. Ask my clan mates how much respect and support they get from me. Want my help or not? Offer is there. Your call.

Maybe I could start by arranging some reading comprehension lessons for a lot of people with knee jerk reaction issues, brought on by not reading posts properly or understanding what they read.  Have expressed multiple times that I have noticed folks trying to help. Just saying(loudly, and repeatedly) that some thought and consultation might be useful before going to a lot of effort for sometimes a lack lustre result.

We are not here to earn your respect. Every person whose name is not red is a site volunteer. That means we are spending our own free time and putting in extra effort to make this site a better place for the rest of you. If you don't like the job we are doing, prove you can do it better. I've asked IcePack to consider you for the beta testers, we'll see what he says.

Sorry Qwert but the next update will have focus on the homepage, hopefully very soon. Many graphic artists can't believe what they are seeing let alone everyone else. It's an abomination!! So you will have to wait a little longer.

Hey Bogan, I'd love to have you on the beta test team. :)

Here's the problem we have right now with scripts and testing and all of the awesome new features being developed for CC: a lot of the scriptwriters aren't active anymore, and are no longer updating their scripts. :( MapRank is a prime example of this. chipv hasn't even logged into the site in years, he's certainly not updating it. But we can't keep the site stagnant and compatible with a script that was developed years ago. It doesn't support new growth, and it's not feasible. It is, however, obviously annoying to the people who use those scripts. I totally get it!

Here's what I think needs to happen: we need to make suggestions in the Suggestions forum (and generate support for them) to implement the functionality that we want. bigWham has proven that he is interested in making changes and willing to do so. Let's help him out and present him with specific suggestions that he can consider in his development plan. We need to make SPECIFIC suggestions for things that we like, not just wholesale implementation of scripts. So - I already created the suggestion to implement snapshots. I think we need more suggestions like: Add Region Hover Indicators (from BOB), Enhance Game Statistics (to show more info),etc.

In conjunction with that, it would be fantastic to get more people who are proficient with writing code to consider taking over the management of scripts that are no longer being developed. It's a tough thing to do, but maybe there are people willing to volunteer their time.

We do have an active beta testing group, and we are trying to grow it and figure out how we can be most effective. Please join us and contribute - it would be great!

Well, if you all want to double the amount you're paying for premium, we'll be happy to employ more script writers :-)
