I've always seen some type of fragility to the type of game that Arsene likes Arsenal to play. Right now they are playing pretty good but as you say the direct matches against Chelsea and City will be the real test.


In any case, it's always appreciated to watch a good ball control without getting to be boring like many times Barcelona is.

That's what I'm talking about. Chelsea will play a more intense game than Arsenal, who will be trying to play a more aestethic kind of game.

What, is it that crazy to think that Arsenal can hold back chelsea till the end?
I know that you are afraid to jinx yourself and you are publicly saying something to avoid potential big disappointments. Maybe you re too young to even remember that once upon a time Wenger won regularly titles with Arsenal and his method worked.
Arsenal remains one of the 3 big contenders (liverpool could still make a comeback, but it seems complicated) and even if they are not the favorites in spite of their current position, they are still where they are.

I picked Chelsea at the start of the season, to be only a couple of points off the top in mid Jan is an excellent position considering how much they've had to change. No one is picking Arsenal because of recent history... pretty football but not able to pick up the scrappy wins. Still if city play th eway they can they win the league.

Paris is just going to get bored in this league...
Tonight 5-0 against Nantes with 73% possession, 906 passes with 93% received and only 4 fauls. It s just too much of a walk in the park, this team is so much better this season with Blanc compared to last year with Ancelotti.

Nevertheless Monaco is still 5 behind. Falcao still not scoring... I think he didn t score since october.. He was far ahead ibra and cavani in the best scorer table at the time... And now he s lost. James Rodriguez is such an awesome player though.


By the way: it is extremely likely that Cabaye will sign for Paris in a few days for 26M€. Newcastle is trying to finish the transaction with Cabella from Montpellier to replace him and accept the deal. He is a very good player but plays in a much more offensive position so it s strange...

Sevilla didn't do much to deserve it, but they got a penalty gift from an Atleti defender.

We had Bergkamp. We had Pires. We had Viera. We had some of the greatest players the league has ever seen. We also had a league that wasn't dominated by whoever had the most money from foreign investors who could "buy titles".

yeah, your profile says 24. i doubt you would remember much of the seasons when you were bellow 10! . I don't remember much from stuff before i was 12 or so. I remember really well marseille winning the champions league, and I was 13. that's 20 years ago, do you remember that champions league final?

Yeah same, remember Man Utd winning the fa cup in 94 but don't remember watching the game... that was 96. First CL - Juve's win in 95 I think. Pretty sure I watched Milan lose to Ajax the previous year but don't remember it. Remember the 94 world cup but 96 Euros was the first major finals that I watched from start to finish.

I wasn t unhappy either to see my country win that prize when I was 18.. Then the eurocup 2 years later. And that eurocup final was such an incredible game!
Like the 99 champions league for united fans.

Lol! No actually i have a pretty good memory of my childhood, but i think that the passion for football came little by little.
No one is into football in my family, and when I was a kid I was more into the NBA. I remember that when I was about 7 or 8 i was really pissed when there was football on TV, I was living in Madrid and there was way too much of it in Spain for me lol! The funny thing is that I was Camacho's neighbour and I used to play with his son and daughter (although Camacho's son was 2-3 years older and a bit of a bully! )
I hope you know who Camacho is Nietzsche?? He was still a major player at the time, the years of the quinta del buitre when they won 2 uefas.

I looked out my window this morning and saw three men in Man Utd shirts playing footy and using a cat for the ball. I was about to go out and stop them when the cay went 1-0 up!

On a more serious note, Moyes needs to be given a chance. The players aren't performing for him. No other manager could have won the title with Utd's squad last season apart from Ferguson. The question is, if they don't qualify for the CL will they suffer devastating financial blows?
