I am the great Sherlock Holmes. I am a mason with Dr. Watson, who is a Doctor and will protect me tonight. So if anyone else has protections I don't need them, especially from the probably insane/ineffective doctor (no offense safari lol)
In my role I was told that other investigators will get some incorrect results, and that only my investigations will be 100% accurate (Sherlock is never wrong of course)
My investigation last night was on Kratos, he was cleared as town.

I don't think I'm voting, but UNVOTE just in case. i think we should keep Holmes alive...

I am clearing players based on claims and softclaims.

Could you share that list with us? It would be very helpful for me, as I'm in three games and can't keep them straight...

So your strategy is just to go for inactive players because they must be scummy/scummarining,
ergo all inactive players are scummy all active players must be pro-town?
How about some originality of argument/thought?
I EBWOP that post since I mixed up games at first. After looking at it, 3 out of my 4 votes in this game were for cases, only one was an inactive/scummarizer because nothing better was going on then.
I will vote on a case if there seems to be one, but if there isn't any I will generally go for a scummarizer rather than an extremely weak case.

We have around 24 hours before it is dropped again and he is lynched?
Probably wise to claim, to give people the opportunity to unvote and create a new case in what minimal time we have left.

It's kind of bullshit, no one should be getting lynched on two or three votes when there are 14 people alive. (FYI: as I have pointed out multiple times, the vote count doesn't offically drop until Anarkists posts that it does, so I am at L-2 right now.) Now suppose one of the two people unvotes and there are multiple people with one vote. What would happen then? We can't all be lynched.

I agree it's hard when the lynch amount is so low, but without it nothing would happen. I claimed because I didn't want to drop to L-1 and risk getting quick-lynched, or accidentally lynched. I would recommend you do the same, so you don't get lynched without claiming like already happened to you this game lol.

Yes, I am town

I asked because I wanted to understand your claim. If you are town, even if you are Sherlock Holmes, wouldn't it have been worth it to risk a quick-lynch if that meant getting scum?
Metsfanmax wrote:Anyway, I protest the idea of anyone getting lynched on two votes, so I am going to vote virus purely so that we're even. This is not the right way to force claims or discussion.

This is the system this game has... complaining about it isn't going to change it for this game. Don't join a game with this mechanic next time if you don't like it. Your refusal to claim isn't helping your case any, so I see no reason to remove my vote from you.
Also, I would strongly recommend against lynching virus.

strike wolf wrote:You can argue it's a shitty way to be lynched, I don't really disagree and I think that falls partly on us (me included) for letting it get to this point. However, it is the system and you agreed not only to join the game but also replace back into the game when you knew it was the system. Refusing to claim only hurts yourself and town if you are town and it only hurts yourself if you are scum/3rd party so yeah honestly, you aren't doing yourself any favors right now. Furthermore, trying to shift the focus back onto Hotshot and/or virus while avoiding your own dilemma only makes you look scummier.

Being as I am the only one who is 100% accurate in investigating people... no, I don't think it's worth getting lynched in exchange for finding a scum. If you feel it is worth being lynched for, you're welcome to try it out.
