I'm fairly certain I didn't give away anything that wasn't in the show. To put it another way, I finished book 3 about 2 years before the show came out.

How are they going to deal with the show once they run out of books though? Will they make up stuff not written by jrr martin?

They're already making stuff up that isn't in the books
I imagine that the telly deal will be a kick up the arse for martin to actually finish the series, although he does have years to go yet

Everything i've read about the other series it seems to diverge more and more.
There's at least one arc involving two characters that have never even met in the books, but meet very early in the tv version

Who?
Also I ve heard that the whole storyline of rob s wife coming from volantis and pregnant has absolutely nothing to do with the book.

Looks like tyrion is getting in more and more trouble, and it's just the begining... one of cersei's sevants just overheard his conversation with shae and I guess cersei will know all about it and get her killed in the next episode...
joffrey's wedding will be awesome, can't wait for all the drama. spending everything while the people are dying of starvation, that will be awesome!
wonder if that is on the tyrell agenda... the tyrell girl is doing everything to be popular and you can't be more hated than joffrey, while the lanisters have gold, the tyrells have all the food, and you can't eat gold.
very brave and witty from jon snow to tell all the truth, only way he could get away with it.
ok, this braavos guy... is it me or they changed the actor from season 3? I'm not too sure braavos is the character I remembered now...
arya gets needle back and revenge. where the hell is she heading to actually with the hound? they go north?? wonder who they will run into. they might reach winterfell at some point, and maybe get involved with the boltons at some point..
no bran and rickion this episode. I saw brann in a 13 minute season preview, lol he has turned into such an ugly teenager. arya too actually. they were both very cute as kids in the first season, the actors aren't growing up nicely, haha!

betiko wrote:uhhh... lysa tully arryn... that doesn't sound really good for arya! why would she accept to go there??? also doesn't look like the hound is hanging out with her just because she's worth much, looks like he has some kind of protective affection for her.
regarding bran; his story line was pretty cool until he became a criple actuallly haha. I thought he would be the main protagonist initially when watching the first episodes.
