Nothing personal, but I do not believe you because of how Nag "retired"

nagerous wrote:I'd love to be more active folks and have been following the thread...

I believe I have bit off more than I can chew though but signing up and involving myself in three mafia games, I see themes and I am like looks sick defo wanna play!

I will be in Paris from wednesday evening to sunday and as of the 25th march I am going to be in thailand and won't be back in the UK for a good two months. Realistically, at current pace the game won't have progressed much further so it does provide me with regret that for the good of the game rather than the good of myself, that I will need to be replaced. I shall PM strike wolf to make necessary arrangements, if it is a struggle for him to replace I will continue to monitor the thread and engage for as much as possible.

and I believe Betty was right when he said:

betiko wrote:don't get me wrong; I found some stuff strange about greg. also I think that if nag chose that timing, it's probably because he didn't want to play during night phase and he would lack of time for it... so possibly because of a mafia night discussion.
greg's jump on the caff wagon was the strangest of all votes on caff, i have to say.
it's just that xstor hasn't said much about the real action. first time i play with him; so i don't know but i'd like some deeper analysis from him on this.
what do you guys want; make greg claim and ask the SK to NK greg if this SK is a town friendly third party? i think that the third parties, if caff is scum, will know that town can end game faster and would be glad to help the scum hunt.

This, in addition to the fact that as a VT, without primary action to protect town, you have just been too quiet. If I was a VT, I'd be pressing everyone's buttons because if they killed me, oh well, town doesn't lose anything. I sympathize with your position coming in late, and understand that it does take time to catch-up, but you've had plenty of time to contribute since my last message to you about why my FOS was on you. Other than ponting out grammatical errors in posts and mis-wordings, you have not helped town out in any respect what so ever. Maybe I've missed it, but can you show me where you have provided insite or "pushed the town forward" in it's quest to eliminate mafia?

Funny cause at some point rug you said that you didn t consider it winning if you re town and you don t make it all the way? Now greg should ve tried to put homself more on the front line?

Regarding greg s claim, well, seems rather legit flavourwise. I think he is most likely telling the truth even if he is far from cleared in my eyes. Don t really know what to think of him.

Quick FYI. I'm having issues with my main computer so connection might be sporadic. I think most of whatever time I have left will be used up focused on College Homework. I don't think the Inactivity will be horrible, however I will try and post if I can no longer take part. I am thinking of getting a new laptop as well so that might effect things. Thanks for your understanding.

lol, 5 minutes after I wrote this IB registered to yet another mafia game and ignored this thread again. There's been a claim in here but he doesn't judge necessary to chip in.

I am not "sure" but I believe him.

Whats with the wheres waldo police?? Rodions a big boy and can speak for himself of course but why is everyone screaming for him and I when we have made our vote quite clear. I removed my vote of Rugbirn not because I believe him but to show i am open to other thoughts.

Someone poisoned Stor. It is either Rugbirn or TFO.

We have gotten three claims today, which is more then enough.

@rish
regarding rug; yes, I think he can be an asset if he's telling the truth. Unless you've missed it I've been all over his ass during a full day to make him claim. uSe that as a lead all you want tomorrow if he ends up being a third party protective role as he pretends to be.

@IB
the game is stalling and you guys don't even think you have something to add after a claim even if you're around, so yeah, don't expect that no remarks will be made about it. If you think you can go through this game as a spectator I'm gonna make sure to prove you wrong.

regarding the rug/tfo: I still think they are both telling the truth, and I don't think xstor got poisoned in the way some have mentioned. Because that would be gus; and that would give 2 killing abilities to red mafia and that sounds like BS.

After all of this conversation, you seem much more confident of this than the rest of us.

I don't fully believe greg. Combo would be an obvious mafia fakeclaim.

The question is: how many shots do we have to misslynch?
There is at least 1 red mafia left, no doubt (gus) and 1 or 2 cartel.
Looking back, super said that the PCM kill was a lucky shot by the cartel. I see no reason not to believe he said the truth. So neb was most probably mafia killed.
Night 2... I believe that from flavour xstor was killed either by gus (no poisoner mechanism), either by heisenberg (poisoner, and in that case tfo, a third party)
Cartel and mafia in that scenario targeted CD and super. So the cartel actually killed their own godfather due to mob s bussing, and they targeted CD in the first place.
Mafia targeted super then on night 2?

What is very strange about tfo is that he received meth during day 1. Sound more like he had it in the first place? Therefore be heisenberg a third party poisoner?

Just my new theory to try and make the pieces of the puzzle fit. What do you guys think of all this?

Betty, here's my take on your theory (in bold):

There is at least 1 red mafia left, no doubt (gus) and 1 or 2 cartel.
I agree 1 red - Gus, and 2 cartel. So if we can get Gus, then there will only be 1 NK/night.

Looking back, super said that the PCM kill was a lucky shot by the cartel. I see no reason not to believe he said the truth. So neb was most probably mafia killed.
I agree with that completely

Night 2... I believe that from flavour xstor was killed either by gus (no poisoner mechanism), either by heisenberg (poisoner, and in that case tfo, a third party)
Possibly, I don't however, believe there is a poisoner. More on this below

Cartel and mafia in that scenario targeted CD and super. So the cartel actually killed their own godfather due to mob s bussing, and they targeted CD in the first place.
Mafia targeted super then on night 2?
I think you have this part wrong. Mafia and/or targeted CD. which made them kill Cartel boss Super. But because there were three kills that night, I beleive a vig (Walt) killed CD accidentally going after Super.

What is very strange about tfo is that he received meth during day 1. Sound more like he had it in the first place? Therefore be heisenberg a third party poisoner?
Heisenberg could be an additional character, and if so, your staement makes sense as a 3rd party

I have a question into Strike about my town protection ability on N1 with XStor about poisoning. When he gets back to me, we may have this cleared up. I'll let everyone know.

Yes you are right I was crude and my apologies to Betiko for my initial remarks.

I have posted all game. Being silent and having nothing more to say after presenting why I believe someone scum and then following through with my vote should be good enough. This whole, "look he was posting there so he should be posting here," crap just rubs me the wrong way and I made it known. Again my apologies for its tone.

Regarding Greg, it's a tough situation. Those that voted him have no motivation to unvote him imo (because he claimed VT), but I'm not sure the non-voters would prioritize Greg over Rugbirn or a third possible lead.

Interested in Rugbirn's next post (the one with Strike's answer).

By the way, I believe Betiko and IB cannot be Gus (one or both of them can be Cartel, though).

Lets say Rigburn is telling the truth for a moment.

He has already admitted he is a survivor. He says he is town aligned but he will still win as long as he lives.

If this game has two docs who is to say that there is not another investigative role such as JOAT, back up cop or other form of investigation? Hank was DEA faction so if there is someone left who can investigate Rugbirn has the potential to screw that up. We are only day three, which means we have had only two nights of action with results.

He has no idea who he is helping and we have no idea who he is helping.

That's actually quite funny.

As to Greg, Betiko's case on you is that our Town Tracker was on your ass, basically the whole time. He has a hunch that xstor had something on you, as well as the fact the only opinion you had on someone was a soft claim at a third party. If we all played like you, where would this game be? No where. You said you'd only vote people you believe are scum. I highly doubt that you consider us all town (Except rugbirn, who's claimed third party).

To me, you just seem like you don't want to rub anyone the wrong way, so you're barely voting. Vote:Gregwolf

I think I am in favor of voting gregwolf today.
Rugbirn is worth too much if he is telling the truth
If we see another poison and/or 3 kills we can lynch rugbirn first thing tomorrow.
Rugbirn's play had greatly improved since he's claimed so he is useful to us either way
