Never much got into the Marvel/DC comic books, but the animated shows and movies I've enjoyed. Watched old reruns of Justice Friends back when I was little, watched the X-men, Batman TAS, Spiderman, Justice Leage, etc. However two of my favorite shows have been Teen Titans (animated series, from what I've learned, is a lot less dramatic and more light hearted than the comic books) and Young Justice. Teen Titans I watched it when it came out and was sad it just basically ended without an "ending" episode. 8 years later I come across Young Justice, a more serious and action based series with really only Robin being the only character in common from Titans.
Teen Titans I enjoyed because I was at the right age. It came out with a sequal series not long ago called "Teen Titans Go!" And the only good thing about it is that it uses the voice cast from the original series.
Young Justice lasted two years (the guy who created it was also the creator of Gargoyles, one of my favorite shows growing up), had some pretty good stories, plotlines, and characters with depth. The second season was set up to fail by being constantly delayed between episodes, killing viewership, by none other than Cartoon Network itself (the network that had aired both series). Young Justice had won awards, high viewership, and was enjoyed by many. Worst of all, and one of my biggest pet peeves in books, tv series, and movies was that it was ended on a cliffhanger. Been canceled.
I know, rant, but still.

Dude, 90's comic book cartoons were awesome. Spidey and X-Men were fucking great, way better than the shit from the turn of the century onward. I seriously hated the animation from these latest iterations. Last I saw they were on Netflix, so that was pretty cool seeing them again. Now if only they'd get Gargoyles on streaming, too...

And after getting back into it, it turns out they haven't done anything with the series in years. They did DLC for it for a while, but that was 3 years ago. That said, I do have a "Rock Band-ish" game with AC/DC songs. The animated characters look nothing like AC/DC, but at least it has the songs.

Market oversaturation. Killed the whole genre. I'm pretty sure there was a period where they released 5-6 "Hero" branded rhythm games in the course of a year. Rock Band lasted a little longer (probably because their business model was better), but they uploaded their last DLC track about a year ago.
