I'd bet that 1 out of the 6 is Robin. We have a better chance of finding him if we can narrow the search from 19 to 6. Plus, maybe we can eliminate some of the contestants based on voting records, or cop investigations. If you honestly don't think it will be helpful to know who the contestants are, then you probably have something to hide.
Incandenza wrote:True, but as always that 'something to hide' could be useful to us. Besides, it's not necessarily 19, at least as far as speculation goes, since several people have already said that they don't have archery skill (selin being one of them, which is why the key word there is speculation). Altho, as said before, I would imagine that none of the peasants have archery skill. Plus there's the fact that our most egregious submariners may not be playing...

I think my heart is fairly pure in this singular instance lol. Its not that i feel i have anything to hide....rather my actions on their own could lead to the deaths of innocent useful townies, because ak had an axe to grind under the premise of finding out more about the contest, and averting our attention from some pretty good investigative work from one mr autoload.

Ummm... that's odd....
Vote - Selin
Thats pretty damning evidence man, but I would still like to hear you're side of it.
Aimless wrote:The Archery Contest - Betrayal!
"The two remaining contestants took a break, while the Sheriff's men came out once again to move the targets. Or, at least, that was what they were supposed to do. Instead, with a quick signal from the Sheriff of Nottingham, they rushed the man in black, grabbing him before he could move.
'Hah!' cackled the Sheriff, having, finally, caught his prey. 'You've tricked me for the last time, Hood!' And with that, the Sheriff yanked off the mask of the man in black, revealing him for all the world. The man in black was none other than Selin!
But, no sooner had the man in black been exposed than a great cry arose from the greenwood, and peasants and soldiers alike were pelted by a great hail stones and arrows. The Merry Men were attacking, in force! That was all the distraction the man in black needed; grabbing for his bow, he struck the Sheriff a hard blow across the chest, and broke for the forest, escaping into safety."
(Mod Note : With this, the archery contest is ended; there is no winner. Day 3 will now continue as normal.)

I can't be assed to look for it, but some time ago Selin claimed to have no skill in archery.
Damn it. Now I feel like an ass for defending him.
GIANT FOS Selin (I'm willing to give him a chance to say something before I vote)
Two quick thoughts, since I've had a couple:
1. Could Aimless be setting him up, goading us into lynching the supposed bulletproof townie?
2. Could that daffy Turkish bastard have been playing us all along? Could he be Robin Hood, having adopted the rhyming as a clever disguise? Is it even possible that anyone is that ballsy? I hate to say it, but it would be ten thousand different kinds of bad-ass if Selin just whipped the whole rhyming thing up just to f*ck with us...
Damn it. Things are not always what they seem. And just when you accept that fact fully into your mindset, that's when things are almost guaranteed to be exactly what they seem.
AK_iceman wrote:Nice defense Mr. Hood.I'd like to see you rhyme yourself out of a lynch today.

Found this little gem on Pg. 96. Yet another lie from Selin... why should we believe you that Aimless is setting you up when we have all the proof we need just from catching you in your lies!
