I don't know about yall...but the two teams I really wouldn't wanna face right now are Netherlands and Columbia.

Germany has no defense at all.
Belgium..as usual is doing a fantastic job of underachieving. GO USA

upset watch...I think Nigeria beats france.

They weren't playing for pens, Chile were done after the first half of extra time, they just didn't have anything left to throw forward, Brazil would have killed them on the break. But who had the best chance in extra time? Chile, so shut up Serbia.

Chile did have the best chance, I don't deny that. Calm your Irish temper dude. Chile also wasn't going forward in numbers. Chile was sitting back. Ian Darke even said they were playing for penalties, so shut up, trevie.

Bollocks.

Like I said, they were shattered form pressing the entire match... going forward in numbers towards the end would have been suicide. Their plan was clearly to sit back and break on the counter at the end when they didn't have the legs, which as you agree almost won the game for them.

Plus pens was anyones, you never know who is going to fall to the pressure... would say that Brazil were under much more pressure in the shoot out than Chile were. Not sure who won the toss but was hoping that Chile would go first just to get the first goal and add the pressure to Brazil... unfortunately they seemed to buckle with the pressure.

Still though, great match and hopefully vs Colombia will be even better with the Colombian going through.

It's Colombia.

I wish Ireland were underachieving like Belgium are  First world cup since 98 and won all 3 group games...

France will win, they're on fire. Don't see any upsets tbh, no clear favorite in the Costa Rica match so could go either way. Maybe USA could beat Belgium, they are seriously over rated.

Not a great strategy for showing confidence in your players.
Columbia showed them how to score off the crossbar.

Ridiculous.. Brazilians are like give a green light to kung fu any opponent..

This world cup, so far, makes me feel like a deja vu.... it just feels identical to the 2002 version, except this one is fun, unlike the terrible one of Korea & Japan!

I still hope Brazil don't keep getting help and end up crowned as champions.. They definitely do not deserve it.. the worst Brazil version I've ever see, and I've been watching football for 25 years!

It hurts a lot to sit without an ass, I cheered it off for Chile last night. My advice to others, don't cheer your ass off for a team.

As I see it a lot of people dont like Brazil. Me neither. This Brazil is an insult to the tradition of jogo bonito. I too was rooting for Chile and I think we missed a chance of seeing Brazil eliminated. I fear that with the criticism of Felipao towards the referee, we will see a robbery against Colombia.

So you think the team that backed into qualifying for the World Cup is going to be the favorite over the team that dismantled the alleged number 1 ranked team in the world?

The Mexican team that struggled to qualify to the WC is not the same team we're seeing now. Different coach, different strategy, many different players. So yes, I'm saying that Mexico will win tomorrow and there will be no doubt.

I was thinking the exact same thing... will be interesting to see who FIFA appoint, anyone outside of Europe with strong CL experience and Colombia are screwed. As a tema the only way Brazil can fairly beat Colombia is by Neymar running at Yepes which would probably involve getting him sent off for a couple of yellows.

This and Brazil vs Chile were the two games that I was looking forward to most in the second round... could be in for more extra time. Think Holland will just edge it in the end, they just have a bit more quality going forward. Hope Mexico prove me wrong though.

I don't dislike brazil at all. In fact, I kind of like all south american teams this year, with a preference for colombia. James Rodriguez, best player of the world cup so far, and he plays in the French league (normally with falcao... too bad)! :p

pretender: yes, I have a horrible feeling about the game tomorrow. vincent Enyeama, the keeper plays in france and I know how good he is. We are not used to the 1pm games, it will be our first one, and in brazilia the heat and humidity will clearly favour Nigeria. 5 of our players started ramadan... and I'm not sure they will respect it or not. Sagna said he will not. I don't realize the proportions of muslims vs catholics in the nigerian team... I hope a bunch of them will be on ramadan too. Let's see how france responds physically... I think this could be a game going to overtime a bit like brazil chile.

I want Mexico to win, but I think the Dutch will. I want all North American teams to do well, and go as far as possible, and it starts today with Mexico.

Bollocks.
