That is very narrowminded thinking. I do not live in the same country as you. Exchange rates fluctuate.
Last time I purchsed membership the aussie dollar was buying USD$1.15, now it is buying 80cents.. So there are fluctuations.. last time 1 years membership cost me $21.75, next time it will cost me double that unless the aussie dollar makes a recovery. It only stays stagnant inside the USA, for the rest of the world it is very different, sometime we save, other times we suffer. So a price change will not always affect everyone everywhere. but that is off topic
Maybe we shouldnt have had a price increase and stayed on the old aging servers and 2nd rate hosting with the lag we all loved so much?
You can have your cake and you can eat it too, but be prepared to pay for it..
As for trying to please you all, last time I made a global announcement to tell people what was happening, I got shot down for "being too invasive". With a community this size we can't please everyone, nor should we try too. But there are very few of you complaining here out of 10,000 for a pricing structure that has been in place for well over 4 months. It didn't happen this year, it was 1st Sept Last year and not a whimper until now.... what does that say?
