On a totally unrelated subject: based on what criteria are moderators appointed, who appoints them, and what exactly are their "powers"?

lack appoints them, I don't know about criteria, but there powers range from editing/deleting/moving threads to banning people.

Rather than try to humiliate him by putting "wrong" in bold, large font, followed by several exclamation marks, care to actually respond to my initial question?

That is, surely, part of what a moderator's duties entail; assisting the CC community.

according to AK, its a boring drag with all this paperwork like hunting multis and responding to complaints, but we all know they have this secret thread where they party all the time...

Even though I couldn't stand a majority of the little piss ants who trolled the CS forums, the GameOps were, for the most part, held in high esteem, and did their job properly. They were all CS players who volunteered their time to moderating the forums and the game servers, and they always acted maturely and responsibly, and set positive examples for the rest of the gaming community...from the few posts I've seen so far from the moderators on this site, that's certainly not how moderators are expected to, or indeed do, behave here!

the great thing about being a guy is...you don't have to shave your body if you don't want to! (And even if you want to you, are heavily discouraged  )

What's wrong with hecter? He seems ok to me.

And as if I could ever be accused of being like someone else, I'm a one of a kind, baby :P

which is probably just as well, one of me is bad enough
